What is a good moveset for Leafeon?

3 votes

A good Eeveelotion, although it has many weaknesses. Mine knows:

Leaf Blade: Good power, high accuracy, good chance for a critical hit, STAB.

Aerial Ace: Decent power, doesn't miss, used to deal with Bug types.

Dig: Good power, high accuracy, dodges the enemies attacks, used to deal with Fire and Poison types.

Iron Tail: High power, good chance to lower defense, used to deal with Ice types.

Here is an excellent physical moveset for Leafeon, and ill give you a staller one too(it can easily be used as either 1!).

Physical Sweeper: Swords Dance is a must. If you have a chance to double already high attack, always take it. This Makes Easy Sweeping. Next, is Leaf Blade, for some STAB. Then Return, for a move that affects alot of types. If the happiness isnt much, Iron Tail, Strength, Aerial Ace, and Dig are all respective moves for this slot. Finally Finish with another one of the moves I listed in the last sentence, for whatever the heck you want.

Now For The Staller: In This Case, Toxic Is a must(must I say why?). Next, is Double Team(since it cant learn Light Screen, it need s a way to be defensive). Next, You Can add Grasswhistle or Flash. Flash for more defenses, and Grasswhistle to stop the opponet from attack, while toxic destroys them. Finally, add Leaf Blade(for STAB and you might need a backup damage dealing move).
Hope This Helps!:)

Very nice set, i would however go with jolly max speed.

Nature Jolly, Evs 252 attack 252 speed 4hp

Leaf Blade(Manditory STAB)

S-dance(Boost already amazing attack)

Synthesis(Invinci-sweeper)

Return/aerial ace(Super strong move or coverage of bugs)

Sweeper is the best option for him becuase he has too many weaknesses and no way of covering them to be a tank so he is a bulky sweeper.

Interesting, everyone says Swords Dance, all I see is Curse. :D
Physical Bulky Leafeon:
description
Leafeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Leaf Guard
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Leaf Blade
- X-Scissor
- Synthesis / Baton Pass
- Curse
This guy is especially fun on Drought teams, as it won't get status conditions and it will recover 2/3 from Synthesis, but can be useful on any UU team as well. Leafeon makes for a great user of Curse, it's speed isn't really great to begin with, it doesn't go over 328 ever, so sweeping would be difficult with the 100 base speed sweepers around. I say forget Swords Dance and make this guy Bulky as well as offensive. Leaf Blade gives STAB, X-Scissor gives better coverage, and Synthesis is for recovery, especially nice in the sun. Baton Pass can be used instead of Synthesis, if rather than recovering, you would prefer to give the Curse boosts to another fresher teammate to abuse.
EVs give 301 HP, max attack and 200 SpDef, not really great, but Def is getting boosted by Curse, so investment there is essentially pointless.
