Meta Battle Subway PokeBase - Pokemon Q&A

Why were all the event legendary Pokemon not released in Black/White 1?

Okay, so this has running through my mind lately. So, you know how the Pokedex in B/W have Meloetta, Keldeo, and Genesect. In the new B/W 2, those legendary Pokemon are already being released as an event. Here's my actual question: How come in B/W they never released those legendary Pokemon and only in B/W 2? Wasn't it just a waste making them in to the first B/W?

lolWUT?
who knows? only game freak can answer this. maybe they planned to originally release them in B/W, but something held them up.
When and where are the Genesect and Meloetta events going to be. Will they be coming to Ilion, I heard that some one got Genesect before he even left Aspertia city. Where the heck is my Genesect? I don't have it yet. I've got Black, Black 2, and White 2. Where is my Genesect? Does anyone know how to get "Genesect" or "Meloetta" without trading or a event? I would be so grateful to find out, please tell me thank you. (P.S. The legendaries I have are Kyurem, Zekrom, Reshiram, Tornadus, the Swords of Justice, Rotom, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Heatran, Cresselia,  Spiritomb, Latios, Latias, Deoxys, Regirock, Regice, Celebi, and  Mew.
thomas, when Genesect was an event, people were able to get it in Aspertia. That event is long gone from now.

Keldeo is actually available now for BW1 from a real-life event.

But the general answer is that they slowly release event legendaries over the course of a generation. They had to put them in the Pokedex so that BW1 and BW2 were compatible and you could trade. But if they released all the event legendaries already they would have nothing for BW2 when it comes out.

They may be available to B/W, we do not know yet.

This is really a question for the creators, not us.
