A Mod alert button.

Question

So, we all know when the chat room gets a bit hectic, and it gets out of control, and no mods are patrolling. Well, this could possibly solve it. An "Inform Mod" button. When clicked, options will show up. You could click the users name that is being the problem. Then a box of options, a bit like this

The Following user was:
Spamming
Abusing
Trolling
using excessive caps
All of the above

With this, the mods could be informed about the troublesome user. And then, either give a warning,a temp. ban, or a perm. ban .

Similiar idea already suggested as a replacement for the ban report.

I agree, but a couple things. It should be like one of those pop-up things that Showdown has when it's your turn, so that they can see it in another tab. And also there an "Other" option when alerting.

This could be an easy substitute for the Ban Report - and must I say, a convenient one. I think it would be better if we used a 'Report' button, which can be in the bottom right corner of every chat message, as to show that that particular message is inappropriate. You'd click on it, and the mod team would be informed immediately, then they can come to assess the state of the chat room, if he/she's a repeatedly doing it, and shtuff. :3

One thing no one mentioned, this would get spammed SOOO much by trolls it's ridiculous. We can control ban report, but not this.

Maybe you have to be Expert and above to use the feature?

We could state a compulsory custom reason as to why -- and maybe there can be a filter that can only accept certain words, or block certain words.
