hmm... I think that for skarmory, instead for having spikes, it should know toxic since toxic dosn't wear off at a point, and spikes does. Three flying type moves? No just too many. I think you should replace whirlwind with something like flash cannon. You have too little moves that could cause damage. That is all I could think of for skarmory and all I could think of. I hope this helps.

Actually, his Skarmory set was perfect. Skarmory isn't a sweeper, and Spikes don't go away unless Rapid Spin is used.
I read that spikes work for three pokemon sent out, and yes I knew rapid spin does that.
No, you can use Spikes 3 times. Each time you use it it deals more damage to opposing pokemon when they switch in. They do not fade away.

Scizor is not a flying type...
Also, having skarmory and gliscor covers each others weaknesses
I never said scizor is a flying type, and never said anything about gliscor and skarmory covering eachothers weaknesses. I was only making a suggestion for skarmory.
Oh, I saw "three flying type moves?" as "three flying type?"
However, those three moves are completely different.
One is to phaze and hurt opponent from hazards, one is to heal skarmory, and the last one is to attack in case of taunt
