What is this underrated mega? It is the one and only:

MEGA ABOMASNOW!!

A side order of Trick Room will turn this Mega into a Monster, so I am going to show the 3 Trick Roomers first, followed by the physical sweeper, then the special sweeper, and finally the filler. Let's get to it!

Uxie @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SDef / 4 HP
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Trick Room
- U-Turn
- Yawn

An incredible 75/130/130 bulk with a bonus access to entry hazards, this T.R. Pokemon was the first Pokemon I could think of for RU. Yawn is to force switch the opponent so I can get a free switch after T.R. or, because this thing is so bulky, it could tank a hit when the T.R. is up due to it's 95 Speed, U-Turn out, and switch in for free that way too, which is why it doesn't have a -Spd Nature. Also, when Yawn puts the opponent to sleep it shuts down that Pokemon completely until it wakes up. Why did I chose Yawn over Healing Wish? One of my Pokemon has Guts.

Dusknoir @ Life Orb
enter image description here
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 4 SP Def
Brave Nature
- Trick Room
- Pain Split
- Shadow Sneak
- Brick Break

I have always preferred Dusknoir over Cofagrigus, because not only is Dusknoir a mixed wall and has a better design, it gets the perfect type coverage: Ghost and Fighting. Life Orb is to do more damage and, effectively, increases the 'power' of Pain Split, with it's low HP being a blessing rather than a curse. Shadow Sneak is for that juicy priority STAB whether the T.R. is down, or even up.

Whimsicott @ Focus Sash?
enter image description here
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spd / 4 SAtk
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Encore
- Trick Room
- Giga Drain

Okay, before you go all "116 Base Speed on a Trick Room Team?! Hey Frenzy, is there something wrong with you? FGYFHUJXEBGHOUKKYF" Stop. This thing gets Prankster. Plus 1 for Taunt, Encore and Trick Room? Amazing. Speed is now almost regardless, and that -6 Trick Room is now moving before Whirlwind and Roar, as slower Pokemon will be using it, aided by it's Timid Nature and Speed EVs. Giga Drain is there for recovery and U-Turn is not, because although it would get a free switch into another Pokemon with it's flipped Base Speed of 116; at it's Defenses of 60/85/75, it is simply to frail to take a hit.

Hariyama @ Flame Orb
enter image description here
Ability: Guts
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 4 SDef
Brave Nature
- Facade
- Knock Off
- Bullet Punch
- Close Combat

An impressive 144 Base HP and an Arceus Attack with a great Ability, this immediately shot onto the list. Yes Rampardos has a higher Attack, and it get MB, and QuakeEdge; but this thing can't be hit by main status conditions after it's first turn, has a better typing, and gets some priority Bullet Punch for when the T.R. is down. The other three moves are pretty much self explanatory, but should I replace Facade with an elemental punch? Close Combat STAB does more regardless.

Abomasnow @ Abomasite
enter image description here
Ability: Soundproof ---> Snow Warning
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SP Atk / 252 Spd
Quiet Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Ice Shard
- Giga Drain / Energy Ball
- Ice Beam

A special sweeper, with the hint of physical by the priority Ice Shard, for that extra bit of a boost. The EVs, Nature, and the other moves are rather obvious once the opponent has figured out that this is actually a Special Abomasnow not a Physical one. However, that ability Soundproof is there just for that small off-chance, and so my team doesn't get that hail backfireness; but with Mega Evolution, there is no choice.

Skuntank @ King's Rock
enter image description here
Ability: Stench
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature
- Toxic
- Sucker Punch
- Poison Jab
- Crunch

Now, before choosing this, these were the conditions: it had to resist Ghost and Dark, have at-least SOMETHING to deal with those prancing fairies, but could be loose on Ground since the rest of the team eats it up - Skuntank. With this set, I'm just going for the all-out flinch hax, with a 20% chance of flinching on it's offensive moves because of Stench and King's Rock. Sucker Punch could be a critical game changer, but was kept off the Dusknoir for that never fail STAB priority. Poison Jab is to actually have something against the fairies and Crunch is just a great STAB move here. Toxic is for that extra tad of damage.

END

Thanks for reading! If you have any suggestions, keep them rolling in, however small.

is there a reason you have Ice Beam over Blizzard on Abomasnow? In the hail, Blizzard has 100% accuracy, so there is no real reason to go with Ice Beam.
