I might not rate, I'll just skim over some things that you could change:

> Discharge on Jolteon for Thunderbolt
> Assault Vest Machamp is much outclassed by Hitmontop. It's a lot more useful with Wide Guard, as it also helps cover Charizard's Rock Slide weakness.
> Switch out Ferrothorn. It's not very useful as you already have a Venusaur doing a Grass type's purpose. Maybe throw in a Water type to form a FWG (Fire Water Grass) core.
^ I'll use these in my answer.
My friend is very assertive on using Ferrethorn, but honestly, I liked the idea of FWG. Really? Hitmontop? Never thought of using him. Any moveset suggestions?
Well its hard to maintain this team if you're gonna have 2 grass types. It will make your own sun seem like a handicap.

And no I didn't mean use Hitmontop, I meant to say that it does the Assault Vest/heavy bulk roles better. Run Machamp, but don't run Assault Vest, give it a different item (maybe Lum berry) and Wide Guard.

But if you do want to run Hitmontop regardless (which is fine because you have enough Milotic and Bisharp counters) you have options to give it moves like Wide Guard, Fake Out and Helping Hand.
Oops, sorry for the misunderstanding. Thanks for the suggestion, by the way. What could I possibly replace ferrothorn for (has to be hazard setter upper)?
I would change it for Milotic I guess, because sun teams usually hate Lando-T, which Milo counters beautifully. Also completes the mentioned FWG core.
And hazards generally suck in the fast-paced playstyle of VGC.
I'll mention that to him. Using a milotic eh? How does this moveset sound?

Milotic @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Competitive
EVs: 252 SpA / 128 HP / 128 SpD
Nature: Modest
Hydro Pump / Scald
Ice Beam
Protect
Recover
Thats the best Milotic out there, imo go for it!

Also I'm not very sure what Cofagrigus is doing for this team to be honest. Is there some reason you don't run it over Aegislash?
Honestly, I don't know. Thanks for mentioning! I derped.
I changed cofagrigus for aegislash. My friend is really difficult to argue with and wants to keep ferrothorn. Unless you can make milotic sound better than a primal arceus, then he won't use it. Personally, I like milotic.
