Pokémon Rate My Team

I've never played PU before, but it seems interesting. I sort of just threw in some Pokemon that I liked, since know nothing about major threats in PU. There are obvious problems, such as lack of physical attackers, and lack of a defogger. Please help me.

sidewalk (Vibrava) (M) @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Careful Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Earthquake
- U-Turn
This is mainly for support in removing hazards and screens, but it can also function as a tank or stall.

the bread (Slaking) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Truant
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Retaliate
- Pursuit
- Brick Break
- Slack Off
This is supposed to be my revenge killer. It's supposed to be sent in when one of my Pokemon faints, and switch out promptly after attacking. Retaliate is my main STAB. Unlike giga impact, it allows me to switch after I use it. Pursuit is used when I predict a switch, and brick break is for coverage. Slack off is for healing.

Fairy Slayer (Probopass) (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
- Power Gem
- Flash Cannon
- Earth Power
- Volt Switch
Every one of my teams has a steel type (except STAB monotype teams, because there are no steel ice types). Another convenient thing about Probopass is that it learns a reliable ground move, so it functions as a Pikachu slayer as well as a fairy slayer.

Swoobat (M) @ Salac Berry
Ability: Simple
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Stored Power
- Giga Drain
This is another special sweeper. I use substitute and calm mind until the salac berry is consumed, and then I spam stored power. Giga drain is for healing and protection against revenge killers.

window (Articuno) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Bold Nature
- Toxic
- Protect
- Roost
- Ice Beam
This is a classic toxic stall. Since Articuno is itself vulnerable to toxic, I'm thinking about replacing protect with substitute.

Sorry it (Dusclops) (M) @ Eviolite
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Shadow Ball
This is by far the most annoying stall I've ever used. It works wonders in NU, so it must be even more op in PU. Will-o-wisp cripples physical attackers, and calm mind reduces special damage. Rest removes the effect of toxic and thunder wave, and shadow ball makes it slightly less vulnerable to taunters.

I understand that you're new to the tier, so I'll briefly tell you about PU. As of now, the most dominant types in PU are Electric and Water and the most dominant playstyle is Offense. Your team has nothing against fast offensive threats, like Rotom-Frost, Zebstrika, and Floatzel (all of which are common 'mons you need to prepare against). You have a big weakness against SR.

Chatot isn't as viable as before because Chatter got banned, your Probopass moveset should either be Defensive or the Air Balloon set, Slaking is subpar at most, Swoobat is okay but it helps compound your SR weakness, Articuno and Dusclops shouldn't be really on a team (Stall in PU isn't that viable ; but the drop of Prinplup might be good, it's too early to tell yet).

I could make a full rate, but your team needs a massive overhaul.

Hope this helped!
But my Slaking can outspeed and revenge-kill all the above threats. Also, can you suggest a good defogger?
Well, if you want to keep Articuno, it can learn Defog.

There are also some good rapid spinners like Armaldo, Avalugg, and Cryogonal (not sure about Cryo because it recently got dropped).
Defog has the unique advantage of being able to remove hazards and screens at the same time. This is sometimes very convenient. I'll edit the team to include a support Vibrava.
I might be making a rate, so tell me which 'mons you want to keep and what playstyle you prefer.

I doubt there's any viable Screeners in PU that you need to look out for, though.
The team that is to be rated is the exact team described above. I like playing with a balance of hyper offense and stall, with rarely any Pokemon functioning only as a support.
Thanks.
You have to give me something to work with here. Even if I change the sets, it won't help as much as changing some of your mons (like Swoobat and Slaking and maybe even Dusclops), so there wouldn't be any significant improvements.

Anyways, by now you might have tested out your team. If you haven't, I strongly recommend it in order to further analyze your weaknesses (but don't prepare for low ladder gimmicks ; you can identify them by their weird sets).
It's hard to tell what's a weird set when I'm just starting. Are you suggesting that I test this team until, like, I'm past 1100 on the PU ladder?
Ideally you're not really supposed to post an RMT until after you've tested the team for a fair amount of time.
Oh. (filller)
