I copy-pasted this from my showdown team so ignore the nicknames if you wish.

Scolurk (Scolipede) (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Speed Boost
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Poison Jab
- Protect

I love this thing, especially for clean-up. It has a real problem with celesteela and skarmory, so I usually hold out till the last possible minute before I send this out, get a swords dance or two on switch and/or sash, before outspeeding and taking out everything else on the opposing side of the field.

Amandibuzz (Mandibuzz) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roost
- Taunt
- Substitute
- Toxic

Mandibuzz is also a favorite. You can run a lot of weird and different sets, like phasing with Whirlwind or providing Defog and Tailwind support, but I like to use this one. It's very susceptible to Taunters, although it does make for an excellent Prankster wall. When that happens, or on a switch, get a sub up, and toxic stall the enemy to bits. Taunt's there so Celesteela or Ferrothorn can't Leech Seed, or anything slow can't set up. If I was gonna get rid of a move, it'd probably be that, maybe for Foul Play

Hen Tie (Tentacruel) (F) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Gentle Nature
- Knock Off
- Scald
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic

I have this guy here as Tapu Bulu bait, to clean up the battle field, or to further cripple pokemon via statuses and knock-offs. Otherwise... It's okay I suppose.

Mammy (Mamoswine) (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash

Mamoswine is just a classic. Send it out, score some critical KO's, outspeed some steel-types and make your opponent wonder what the hell just happened, just wonderful.

Liz (Scrafty) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Roar
- Fake Out
- Foul Play
- Thunder Punch

This one's weird. Intimidate means I can invest in Special Defenses, and Fake-Out's just too good to pass up. Thunder Punch is there for further Celesteela and Skarmory defense, as well as to surprise those pesky flying types who think they know what's what when they try to spam their Brave Birds. And if Stealth Rock is up you can force some switches with Roar for some residual damage.

Gordo (Gourgeist-Super) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Pickup
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Leech Seed
- Will-O-Wisp
- Synthesis
- Seed Bomb

Having a switch on Leech Seeders or anything spamming a normal or fighting move is excellent, and Will'o'Wisp allows for some special investment. It can take some Ice Beams with relatively little issue and cripple with Wisp or Leech Seed, while using Synthesis to status stall or get free health on switch.

Lay it on me. Lemme know who could be doing a particular job better, or some weaknesses, blast all that critique into my gaping maw, I'm ready for it. Although, if possible, make 'em just a /litttttttle/ weird, I love some weird sets I can win with.

You say this is OU but don't have any OU mons in it?
Yeah if you’re playing this in OU, most of your picks here are outclassed. Speaking generally, half of these could make a straight swap with Skarmory, Toxapex, Lopunny and Ferrothorn/Tangrowth and you’d have a better team already. Especially the Scrafty set, you’re wayyy further into ‘weird’ territory than you should be haha
Also a bit confused on what your game plan is with this? You’re basically running four stall mons with a couple set-up attackers in the back. It’s unconventional. I’d try to make the whole team less passive — start by putting CB on Mamo, or something like that.
Yeah... I wanted to use this in UU, but ya know, Scolipede is in the UU banned list. So I had to put it in OU, because I can't stand to get rid of it. Otherwise, yeah I'm kinda using underpowered pokes for OU (although Mandibuzz has walled nearly everything I sent it out against seriously how is it not used more).

I'm not too big on Choice Band Mamo tho, cuz you couldn't get rocks up on switch AND get an Ice Shard or EQ out afterwards. It's nice to get that power, but Mamo's typing is also pretty cruddy for defense, and the assurance Focus Sash brings is just too good to pass up for me. But otherwise, I could do with using some more conventional pokes for the roles I'm filling them with.

Aw nuts, I forgot to make Gordo's ability Frisk
Until you get a good ladder rating, almost all of your opponents will be people who are even noobier than you and use Pokemon that are even worse than yours. So of course your Mandibuzz can wall all of their bad Pokemon.
If you want to play OU so much, why are you not using Pokemon that are good in OU?
I'm... not really set on playing OU though. The only reason I am is because of Scolipede being banned in UU. Since then I've dropped it from this team and replaced it so I can play the rest of these pokes in a better environment, and taken the few really effective sets from this team and adapted them to OU pokes for the new Scolipede team I've been building.

Even then, I do generally use pokemon that aren't good in their tiers because I find it kinda fun to see what can hold its own against specific pokes, and winning with a niche and funky team is a pretty amazing feeling.
