Question

solar beam is a good move, but its a 2 turn move and I don't have room for sunny day.
is it possible to make Houndoom learn a good grass type move other than solar beam without cheats? if you know how please tell me asap!

The only other grass move it can learn is Hidden Power Grass.

sorry, but i really dont know how hidden power works so if you could tell me how to get hidden power grass that would be great!

Hidden Power is determined by the IVs of you pokemon. These IVs are set in stone and cant be changed. If you dont have Hidden Power Grass now you will have to get a whole new Houndoom. Teach yours Hidden Power and test it against other pokemon and see which one it hits super-effective against.
