Likely tier: Overused
Drain punch
Ice punch
Fire punch
Thunder Punch
Give it an expert belt
Max out speed and attack
Or you can switch out drain punch 4 power up punch and give it left overs

3 immunities, and a 4X resistance... interesting.

Earthquake-First and foremost.

Dynamicpunch-with no guard, this is great, if you like risks, then it's powered by iron fist. covers dark and ice weakness.

Shadow punch-Gives Ghost STAB.

Stone edge-Stone edge is for more coverage.

Golurk @ Chesto Berry

Role: Sub Punching Beast

Trait: Iron Fist

EVs: 200 HP / 252 Atk / 28 Def / 28 SDef

Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)

  • Substitute
  • Focus Punch
  • Shadow Punch
  • Rest

Ba.. Ba.. Oh yes. Freaking Beast!

Substitute sets you up being brave and bulky and all, so if you time it right, you'll keep your sub for the next turn, Or if you can force a switch, thats always cool.

Now focus Punch beasts em up, with Shadow Punch for Ghosties who won't get touched.
Resto Chesto to be able to have a reliable form of healing.

"Did I just get hit by a high-speed truck?"

Ability: Iron Fist
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 HP
Item: Expert Belt
- Shadow Punch- with STAB and boost from Iron Fist, this move has over 100 power plus it never misses
- Earthquake- high power, STAB, and an all around great move
- Rock Polish- I know what your thinking, Golurk is pretty slow, but with maxed out speed and this move, golurk's speed will be ridiculous (Just wanted to offer an alternative support move/moveset instead of sub punch or gyro ball and hammer arm)
- Stone Edge/Brick Break- more power or one more type being cover by brick break

Rock Polish is kind of a no-no for Golurk dude!

I DOUBT anybody will let you get a chance to use it three times to max it.
EVEN IF you get to the sixth stage boost of Speed, Golurk will still be outsped by Scarfers or other Pokemon with Agility, or a Speed boost of their own!
if a fast pokemon shows up just let it pwned them ur forgetting that golurk has quite a high amount of hp
Actually, Shadow Punch with Iron Fist does clock in at 108 base power.
So many doubters! You would not believe the sweeps I have done with this Golurk. 252 Speed, 252 Attack.  Rock Polish turns this Golurk into a beast, especially if you have a nice light screen up beforehand.  I gave it a Hard Stone to add stab to Stone Edge. Rock Polish, shadow punch with iron fist, and Earthquake.
See it to believe it.
Rock polish golurk is amazing, for all you reading over this now, as his tier is nu,nu,NU! No garchomps, rotom-ws or azumarills and the like that could destroy him, take a look at nu then tell me rock polish golurk is bad.(sorry for old comment post but just couldn't help correcting about go lurk.)

I like this guy a lot. I expect great things from him.

Ability: No-Guard

EVs: HP, Attack, Sp Def Nature: Adament

Earthquake: STAB Earthquake. Almost nothing is better.

Shadow Punch: I know it wouldn't miss anyways, but this is for STAB and other Ghost types.

Stone Edge: Can't miss. Great move. Good type coverage also.

Dynamicpnch: Can't have no-guard if you don't have this. Always confuses, and has high power. Great type coverage also.

Wow trachy you just beat me!

My set was gonna have earthquake and shadow punch too

But if it doesn't have No-Guard, and you don't want to wait til' lv. 60 for Hammer Arm, I would go with Brick Break- always reliable, kills dark types

Gyro Ball would be a no-brainer because of very low speed, and would be REALLY great with lagging tail, and if you do get hammer arm that means EXTRA speed loss

I'd expect this pokemon to be able to learn 'punches' from the move tutor(of course nobody knows for sure) but if it does, go Fire Punch for grass coverage, or Thunder punch for water coverage.

Wow, you beat me too dt, now my answer looks like a copy.....:(   But its NOT, please don't vote it down.
We won't vote it down. with moveset questions, a lot of us have similar answers, so if we say the same thing, we didn't know the other one would also post that.
Only vote down repeat movesets only if they were made a good time apart (about a three days later). Understood that people are writing their answer and others can finish first. Happens to me all the time.
:) thank you just makin sure

Shadow Punch: Takes care of ghost type weakness, works great with the fighting type move.

Hammer Arm: Iron Fist boost, no type can recist the ghost and fighting type combo.

Earthquake: Gives more coverage.

Are you sure about the Choice Band item? At some battles it might be better to have lower attack but  more moves. But thats only my opinion.

Now THIS is your high-speed truck.

B1G BO$$ @ Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 Spd, 252 Atk, 6 Def
Jolly Nature [+Spd, -SAtk]
Trait: No Guard

-Earthquake is your STAB.

-Dynamic Punch is your Ice/Dark coverage.

-Stone Edge: Need I say why?

-Heavy Slam can be more powerful than Earthquake at times, so you could use that, given that it's 727.5 lbs.

Golurk @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Shadow Punch
- Earthquake

I'm very surprised that I don't see this set mentioned. Or maybe I'm blind. Probably the blind part.
SubPunch Golurk hits pretty damn hard, mainly due to Golurk's good Attack stat and access to Iron Fist. Golurk's access to Substitute eases prediction, allowing for more efficient sweeping, as well as protecting Golurk from any status. Focus Punch works in conjunction with Substitute, and is powered up by Iron Fist, Both Shadow Punch and Earthquake are STAB.

In 6th Gen try:

Holding: Leftovers

ability: iron fist

Shadow Punch-As strong as phantom force with iron fist + STAB
Power-Up Punch- Coverage, ups attack and becomes stronger with iron fist
Earthquake- Good move + STAB
Heavy Slam or Gyro Ball- Both do high attack because Golurk is heavy and slow(Fairy killers- Most Fairy Pokemon are special defensive)

ability: no guard

fly: against grass weakness

dynamic punch: won't miss, always confuse and coverages ice/dark

shadow punch: really good ghost STAB

earthquake: why wouldn't you have this?

I got a little question. Half of your moves are punch moves so why the abilllty isnt Iron Fist? I understand that with the No Guard abillty you wont miss with the Dynamic punch and yet, Shadow punch wont miss. Earthquake base accuarcy is 100 and Fly base accuracy is 95 which is also pretty high. You are losing a lot of power for only 1 move, even through that one move covers all it seems a little too much to me. But thats only my thought.

Item: Put whatever you want

Ability: Iron Fist

Nature: Brave

Earthquake (Must I give reason?)

Shadow Punch (STAB, powered up by Iron Fist)

Hammer Arm (Coverage, Powered up by iron fist)

Gyro ball (Coverage, Hammer Arm and brave nature power it up)

EVs: 252 ATK, 252 SPD, 4HP

Ability: Iron Fist

- Earthquake - STAB, best ground-type move ever
- Shadow Punch - STAB + Iron Fist bonus, most decent physical ghost-type move it can learn
- Drain Punch - Iron Fist bonus, Coverage (Ghost + Fighting covers all types), healing purposes, to get rid of those annoying Dark-types.
- Ice Punch - Coverage, to get rid of those annoying grass-types

Just use the move-tutors to learn Drain Punch and Ice Punch.

Held Item: Expert Belt

Trait: Iron Fist

Earthquake - Do I really need to say why? xD

Stone Edge - For some super effective moves (that is why I have the expert belt)

Shadow Punch - It is a little weak with 60 power but iron fist powers up punching moves & it never misses

DynamicPunch - It is a bit hard to hit with this one but with 100 power, iron fist and helps cover dark and ice weaknesses it is a good idea to have this in your move set.

I'm here to give EVERY SINGLE SET I KNOW. And I know quite a few.

Specs, yes, specs.
Terminator(Golurk)@Choice specs
Evs: 252 spa 252 HP 4 def
Ability:no guard
- Focus blast
- Shadow ball
- Earth power
- Ice Beam
Actually decent sometimes.

Collosus(Golurk)@Assault Vest
Evs:126 attack, 126 spdef, 252 HP
Ability:Iron fist
- Drain punch
- Earthquake
- Shadow punch
- Ice punch
Focused spdef.

Rock polish.
Godlurk(Golurk)@Focus sash
Evs:252 Attack, 252 Speed
Ability:Iron fist/no guard
- Stone edge
- Earthquake
- Shadow punch
- Dynamic punch/drain punch
Really good IMO, once you get a polish or two off your set.

Fat man(Golurk)@Choice band
Evs: 252 attack, 252 speed, 4 HP
Ability:Iron fist
- Shadow punch
- Ice punch
- Drain punch
- Earthquake
Main set I use, I usually use the tips for phantom force and dynamic punch at the end.

Literaly rock polish replacing focus sash and rock polish for scarf and something else.

Brick wall(Golurk)@Leftovers
Evs: 126 either defense, 126 attack(Drain punch is main healing),252 HP.
Ability:iron fist
- Stealth rocks
- Mirror coat
- Power up punch(more healing for drain punch)
- Drain punch
If you want, replace the attacks with heavy slam and iron deffense and grab 252 spdef. Becomes a decent tank.

Life orb.
Robocop (Golurk)@Life orb
Nature: Adamant
Evs: 252 attack, 252 HP, 4 def
Ability: Iron fist
- Stealth rocks
- Earthquake
- Shadow punch
- Drain punch
SR with some attacks.

Boltbeam punches with STAB.
Godlurk(Golurk)@Expert Belt(Bolt beam with more coverage, SE will not be rare.)
Evs: 252 attack, 252 HP, 4 def.
Ability:Iron fist
- Ice punch
- Thunder punch
- Shadow/Fire punch
- Earthquake
Replace shadow punch with fire punch for 4 more SE's. Not much.

Sub punch.
Death(Golurk)@Life orb
Evs:252 attack, 252 HP, 4 def.
Ability:Iron fist.
- Substitute
- Focus punch
- Earthquake
- Shadow punch
Sub punch.

Trick room.
Gotta go last!(Golurk)@Life orb
Evs: 252 attack, 252 HP, 4 def
Ability:Iron fist.
- Hammer arm
- Shadow punch
- Earthquake
- Gyro ball
Bronzong is great for the trick room setter, as it has levitate.
Tips:You can replace a lot of attacks for heavy slam. You can change the ability to no guard and replace the fighting coverage( if it has it) with dynamic punch. Every shadow punch can be replaced by phantom force.

If I missed any good sets, comment it and I'll put it here.
