Wow. I'm not going to give this Pokemon Aura Sphere! This is because it is so great with other moves.

Ability: Regeneration

EVs: Attack, Speed, HP Nature: Adament

U-Turn: Great with Regeneration, doing damage (death to Psychics) and leaving to heal the damage done by Hi-Jump Kick.

Hi-Jump Kick: With high power, and 90% accuracy, this STAB move is great. Any recoil damage can easily be healed off.

Stone Edge: Deals with Flying types.

Acrobat/Fake Out: Acrobat might work well with some berry. Fake Out just gives you free damage.

THIS IS GREAT ONE!
Very nice
I ended up with something akin to this moveset without knowing it, I swapped out Hi-Jump kick for drain punch and gave it my big root, it's so hard to kill except when someone uses the toxic protect combo. I put bounce instead of acrobatics, but I'd put  different flying move there if I were competitively battling.
Ingame I have a 31 Attack DV adamant Mienshao with this moveset (Acrobat instead of Fake Out). Planning to find a flying gem to make Acrobat an UBER move.
On PO, this Mienshao is god damn awesome as a lead.
Oh, and no HP EVs. Mienshao is extremely frail I noticed so rather max attack and speed which you both need competitively. Attack to OHKO with Hi Jump Kick and Acrobat and Speed to outspeed everyone. That thing is quite fast with maxed Speed.

Suggested abilty: regenerate

Stone Edge-covers flying weakness.

U-Turn-goes perfectly with ability.

Hi jump kick-STAB, can be healed with regeneration.

Taunt-Taunt can force out walls, not too much of a secret to it.

(Swords dance would be a good option if you didn't have U-turn.)

Mienshao is a great sweeper. Here's what I am using:

Ability: Regenerate
Item: Nothing, or perhaps a berry that gets consumed.
EVs: Attack and Speed

  • Hi Jump Kick: incredibly strong this generation with 130 base power; Regenerate can heal recoil damage if it happens.
  • Acrobat: 110 bp without an item.
  • Stone Edge: powerful, type coverage, yadda yadda.
  • U-Turn: covers psychic weakness and works well with Regenerate.

(Jump Kick is another potential option for the first slot, which is slightly more secure at 95% accuracy and still very strong at 100 bp.)

Fight Gem is good. Use it with Hi Jump Kick to get a lot of damage, and then you have a more owerful Acrobatics.
You can actually use a Flying Gem. The item gets "consumed" before Acrobatics, meaning you get the full 110 base power, plus more from the Flying Gem.

Mienshao (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Reversal
- Stone Edge / Quick Guard
- Acrobatics / Quick Guard

1 HP reversal sweeper. Swords Dance first turn, then once your knocked down to your sash, use reversal. Other two moves are coverage, and Quick guard may be used in the place of one of them as a protection against priority.

Mienshao (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Hi Jump Kick

Anti-Fake Out Lead. Fake Out flinches opposing Fake Out Leads, but if they're faster inner focus prevent you from flinching yourself. HJK is STAB, while the other moves are coverage.

Mienshao (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Water]
- Aura Sphere
- Grass Knot
- Swift

Specs Variant. HP water offers great neutral coverage alongside Swift, Grass Knot provide even more coverage, and Aura Sphere is STAB.

Mienshao @ Expert Belt
enter image description here
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Hi Jump Kick
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn
- Toxic

After testing this set in OU on PO I have concluded that it is one of the more deceitful sets this weasel is capable of running. The little trickster is notorious for his powerful Hi Jump Kicks and his U-turns giving him HP back from Regenerator, but most battlers tend not to predict HP Ice, which stops Gliscor and Lando-T in their tracks. The Expert Belt gives him a nice boost when SE and allows him to fake a Choice set like a boss, as people tend to think Choiced when you play it like one early-game and they don't see Fake Out. As if the enemy thinking you were choiced was not enough, the set gives Mienshao one last trick up his sleeve, and that is Toxic. Ghost types are one of the most common switch ins to Mienshao, to take a Hi Jump Kick, dealing 50% recoil damage to our little freind. It just so happens that a majority of ghost types are defensive, so the solution here is to use Toxic whenever you predict a defensive counter coming in, which will usually severely hinder the life span of this counter, allowing Mienshao to come back for vengeance later in the game when the counter has been worn down by Toxic damage.

High Jump Kick(DEATH STAB)

U-turn(You can't catch me and while your looking I can heal! cover psychic)

Stone edge(Covers Flying)

Fake out/Posion Jab/Return(Free damage, Nice move, Amazing power)

Special sweeper(No one else did this?) Timid, 4hp, 252 S.attack, 252 speed Item life orb

Aura sphere(STAB never misses)

HP(Ice)(Kill those Dragons)

Grass knot(Coverage kills heavy pokemon like Krookidile)

Calm mind/Tuant/hyper beam(Power up or distroy power upers or a last resort move)

The perfect user of Life orb becuase he can just heal off the damage by switching

answered Feb 18, 2011 by Speed freak
Note Calm mind isn't that good becuase he will be switching often.

Physical (obviously)
Regeneration (recover 1/3 of health on switchouts)
Hi-Jump Kick - STAB, Go Chuck Norris on opponents ;)
U-Turn - Perfect with ability, no need for stone edge for flyers (change to electric, rock or ice)
Endure - Frustrate opponents. You know what comes next
Reversal - Destroy with 1 HP left (200 power + STAB)

Jolly nature - Don't need SP.Atk for this moveset and increase speed for endure/reversal combo

Item - Life Orb is great with Mienshao's regeneration ability
Muscle band is good too, doesn't hurt you but increases attack power less

Life orb kills you when you use reversal
No it doesn't.
hmm... I don;t like having to rely on 2 fighting moves /:

Mienshao (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

  • Hi Jump Kick
  • Fake Out
  • U-turn
  • Stone Edge

I know this is a VERY old set suggestion, but I need to say this: I absolutely LOVE this moveset for Mienshao. That's why it's one of my favorite Fighting-types. :3

Mienshao (M) @ Normal Gem

Role: Chance On Sweepin

Trait: Regenerator

EVs: 252 Atk / 64 Def / 64 SDef / 128 Spd

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • Force Palm
  • SmellingSalt
  • Acrobatics
  • U-turn

Most gamers just go with that good o'l classic set with this guy, Try something new!

Force Palm has a 30% Chance to paralyze, which is nice with this set, plus 100 accuracy.
Smelling Salt Gets Double Power when your Foe in Paralyzed ( Supported by FP ) And normal Gem makes it pretty much an instant OHKO.
Acrobatics gets boosted power after you ditch that Normal Gem + Smelling Salt combo.
U-Turn Supports Regenerator.

And those Little Ev's in Defense is so its not just an Automatic KO if anything hits him, this way he might not quite die from a not very effective move ^^

moves:
u-turn: for regeneration.
Drain punch: gain health from damage of life orb.
Acrobatics: more damage added if physical.
fake out: STAB and does more damage from life orb.

item:life orb nature:timid (+ 10% spd, -10% attack)
trait:regenerator.

hope its helpfull.

answered May 7, 2013 by DcNature
Why did you pick an attack-decreasing nature if its got all physical moves? A better nature would be jolly (+Spd., -Sp. Atk.)
0 votes

ability: regenerator

item: none

moves:

stone edge: beat flying weakness

acrobatics: BOOM!!!

u-turn: for a quick escape and to somtimes heal 1/3 hp with regenerator, and beat psychic

drain punch: with it's fast speed, you can be a recovering spammer.

answered Aug 2, 2011 by daEpad
May I suggest using a flying gem, As Acrobatics will count it as being gone after use, meaning you'll get an insanely Strong Acrobatics, Instead of just having no Item.

Name: UberPwnage
Mienshao (M) @ Flying Gem
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

-Hi-Jump Kick: STAB, Extreme Power.

-U-Turn: Psychic coverage, Regenerator abuse.

-Acrobatics: If he hold a flying gem, it is "consumed" before the attack, so the power will be 165. After that, you still have a flying type move with a power of 110, with 100% accuracy.

-Brick Break: STAB, Good Accuracy, Breaks Reflect and Light Screen.

answered Feb 23, 2012 by 5th of November
No flying coverage could mean the end of mienshao because a pokemon like scyther could OHKO with aerial ace AND outspeed you. I'd go with a jolly nature and have rock slide instead of brick break to cover that weakness. It could be the difference between a full sweep and a short run.

Mienshao (M)
Trait: Regenerator
Nature- Adamant/Jolly
EV's- 252 Attack 252 Speed 4 HP
Item- Life Orb

  • Fake Out
  • Hi-Jump Kick

U-turn would be the better move for this set, drain punch would be better if it had a big root.

This is a good moveset for Mienshao:
Ability: Regenerator
Hi Jump Kick - STAB, powerful, not too likely of taking recoil damage
Stone Edge - Type coverage, defense over Flying - types
Acrobatics - Type coverage, good move with a power of 110 if you don't hold an item
U - Turn/Dig or other - Your choice...

Probably one of the best Fighting types in any game.

Jolly/Adamant Nature
EV trained in Attack and Speed
Regenorator Ability
Fly Jewl Held Item

Fake Out: Cheap and annoying damage.
U-Turn: Perfect with its ability.
Hi Jump Kick: STAB, awsome power, if you miss you can just use U-Turn to recover.
Acrobat:Goes great with Fly Jewl boosting its power to what I think would be 160, but for the rest of the battle it would just be 110.

Well I really like this Pokemon so I try doing it's moveset=
Mienshao

Item=Leftovers (Recover if Hi Jump Kick misses) or Focus Sash.

Abilty=Regenerator

Ev=Defense,Sp.Defense,HP (Gives Mienshao more possibility to survive)

Nature=Adamant

Moveset:
U-Turn=Very good with he/she's ability
Hi Jump Kick=Very good power (130 Base Power) works great with ability and item.
Sword Dance=Boost it's attack
Stone Edge/Substitute/Fake Out=Stone Edge for coverage,Substitute help on it's resistance and work great with Item and Ability or Fake Out for a little bit of damage on the leading opposing Pokemon and make it flinch.

Mienshao @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Hi Jump Kick
- Stone Edge
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn

idc what tier this thing is he will always be my little OU weasel. Mienshao is naturally fast so Scarfing the sucker makes it an ideal revenge killer with U-turn and Regenrator, and it can sweep late-game like no one's business. It is very skilled at taking down frailer Pychic types like Alakazam and the occasional Azelf, while HP Ice takes down things like Dragon types and and the common Gliscor and Landorus-T switch-ins. Stone Edge picks off flying types like Thundurus-T and deals good damage to common Ghost switches, namely Gengar.

U-turn: to switch in a bad situation.
Aura Sphere: for damage with out focus blast's horrible accuracy.
Hidden Power [dark]: for dem weaknesses.
Grass Knot: annoy the heavy Pokemon.
