A rare Pokemon with a very strange move-pool. No two are the same doesn't apply to this guy, it still applies only to Spinda. Levitate is a nice ability to have as always. One of the best abilities in my opinion.

Ability: Levitate

EVs: Sp Def, Speed, Special Attack Nature: Calm

Ice Beam: One of the best moves in the game. STAB.

Reflect: Dual-Screen set.

Light Screen: Dual-Screen set.

Flash Cannon: Deals with Rock types.

Dude frankly speaking , reflect wouldnt help that much cause cyrogyonal has only 30 defence and so a physical move with type disadvantage would easily KO him.
It is called team support.
cyrogyonal is a weird  pokemon
its so freaking stupid that he has so many psychic type moves and yet he cant learn psychic........... ._____.

Staller:

  • Toxic
  • Acid Armor
  • Protect/Recover
  • Ice Beam/Reflect/Hail

Your generic stalling pokemon. Doesn't require much explanation. Toxic and hail damage the foe while he stalls and pads up defenses, using ice beam if needed.

Sunny Cryogonal:

- Solarbeam
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Ice Beam

This is a cryogonal to be used on sun teams. You'll likely have fire pokemon on your team to take fire and steel moves for him, and many grass types carry poison subtyping, giving them the chance to take fighting attacks, and their grass typing deals with rock pokemon.Solarbeam has no charge in the sun, rapid spin blows away stealth rock for your team, recover brings him back up when needed, and ice beam is a simple STAB move.

Lets try this out:

Ice beam/Blizzard-STAB; pick the latter if you have hail.

Hidden power[Fighting]-covers rock and steel weakness.

confuse ray/Recover- or confuse your opponent a bit or recover some health.

hail/reflect-hail is up because of blizzard (100% accuracy) reflect deals with defense. However, a dual screener isn't the best option for an ice type, since they are weak to fighting. And judging by how common brick break is, your opponent can kill two birds with one stone. Hail would be a wonderful choice with this guy, considering he gets a special defense boost.

Cryogonal @ Life Orb

Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Ice Beam
- Ice Shard
- Rapid Spin
- Hidden Power [Electric]

Why has nobody thought of a physical cryogonal?

Cryogonal @ Light Clay
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 228 Def / 28 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Reflect
- Rapid Spin
- Sharpen
- Ice Shard

This set is best paired with:

Haunter (M) @ Wise Glasses
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Disable
- Psychic
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp

No one did a Physical set because in the time it takes to boost your attack someone will have used a Physical move and KOed you. Also he as very few good Physical moves. And having two Status moves and two moves that depend on the status moves is not very smart (referring to Haunter).

Alternative Sunny Cryogonal:

ColdSummer (Cryogonal) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Signal Beam
- SolarBeam
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Ice Beam is your STAB. F***s Venusaurs really easy. HP Fire is boosted in the Sun, and it gets Great coverage, including his Steel weakness. Solarbeam abuses the sunlight and covers Rocks, Ices and Waters that he'd otherwise have trouble taking down. Besides, It's SOLARBEAM. Almost every good Special Attacker in the Sun has it that can learn it. Signal Beam is Dark and Psychic coverage, although you don't often see that in weather...

I'm celebrating the first snow in 10 years by bringing you yet another Sun Cryogonal! I live in the border of U.S. and Mexico (Texas.)and when you visit my town, the road goes downhill like if it was a crater with the town in the middle.

Cryogonal@Light Clay/Leftovers
Ability: Levitate

Reflect/Acid Armor- Increase that paper defense.

Solarbeam- Kinda obvious. You can really annoy ground types too.

Rapid Spin- Helps out most of your team.

Toxic/Ice Beam/Recover/HP >insert type</Light Screen- Wildcard move. Choose whatever you need.

Bold nature. 252 HP/252 Def/4 Spe EVs. Mainly support with Solarbeam to keep the pattern on. Very unexpected too.

Dual Screening Cryogonal
Cryogonal @ Leftovers/Light Clay
Trait: Levitate
Bold Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def and 4 Speed
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Recover
- Freeze Dry/Ice Beam

Reflect and Light Screen are no brainers for a dual screen set. Recover is to heal some damage on and surprisingly, Cryogonal is quite bulky to utilize it. Freeze Dry can get super effective damage on water types + STAB, while Ice Beam is good due to freeze chance.
