How about this set:

Pursuit-STAB; the rest of this moveset is built around forcing switches, giving this more power.

Thunder wave/toxic/Protect-Thunder wave cripples, and toxic damages, works well with Mischievous. Protect works well with torment/encore if you need to stall them out.

Torment- works well since nobody is going to use other moves, they'll just finish this thing off. Torment prevents double attacks, great for choice users, which are fairly popular in lower tiers.

encore/Taunt-Taunt prevents status moves from being used, and encore can be combined with torment to trip up the opponent pretty well.

Why does this thing have nasty plot!? but no good moves to use it for, except shadow ball!

i use my liepard as a Ahole :D...
-Toxic for the obvious reasons
-Fake out to take off those annoying sturdy's
-Protect. I LUV POISON
-Snarl :D... STAB + alota Spec ATT + lowering enemy spec attack. yes please.
i mainly use liepard in double battles.. i lead with fake out ... on the one that is super effective on me... my other dude uses reflect/lightscreen depending on the oposing teams..
then i toxic if i can tank a shot... other dude smacks them to death while they slowly get poisoned.... and i protect.. and then snarl...

Go Persian, go!

Ability: Mischievous Heart

EVs: Sp Attack, Speed, HP Nature: Modest

Nasty Plot: Broaden your horizon. Watch as I use Nasty Plot to make this guy somewhat decent. Always goes first.

Bark Out: Yep, Dark STAB. Lowers the foe's Sp Attack for sure also. It will become very powerful thanks to Nasty Plot.

Taunt/Grass Knot: Make use of going first to stop your foe from using stat moves. Or make use of Nasty Plot with Grass Knot.

Shadow Ball: Makes more use of Nasty Plot.

Purrloin @ Focus Sash (Alt: Eviolite)

Trait: Prankster

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd (Alt: LC EVs)

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

  • Taunt
  • Thunder Wave
  • Swagger
  • Foul Play

For use in NU or LC. Taunt basically screws up other Pranksters, Thunder Wave is paralysis. Swagger is a Parahax. Foul Play is STAB and Swagger boost.

B/W 2 gave it a valuable asset, Dark Pulse. Now it runs an exceptional Special Sweeping set. Best used in Late-game.
enter image description here

Milo (Liepard) (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Unburden
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Grass Knot
- Nasty Plot

Nasty Plot give this guy a boost to 602 Sp. Attack. (Impressive, am I right, or am I right?)
Boost the Sp. Attack on the first turn, burn the sash, and you get a Speed boost from your ability, bringing you to another impressive 622 Speed. Be sure that Defenses of both types are at absolute minimum for Unburden to work. Dark Pulse is the most Powerful STAB he's got that's Special being at 120 including STAB. Sooo much better than Snarl, with a measly 55 BP (w/out STAB.). HP Flying covers his weaknesses to Fighting and Bug, along with Grass. Grass Knot takes out those bulky, heavy Rock and Ground Types, as well as Water.

Impressive or what?

Another nick: Assassin
HP Fighting is an alternative to Flying if you wish.
Extremely weak to Priority which is everywhere here.
Which is why I said LATE GAME. When priority is eliminated.

Double/Triple Battle

Liepard (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Fury Swipes
- Snarl
- Swagger
- Thunder Wave

So, Liepard is useless except as a lead (where it is iffy even then). But in multi-battles, it becomes just plain useless. So time to help out the team. Swagger for Own Tempo Pokemon, Thunder Wave to take care of an annoying foe, Snarl to lower Special Attack and do minor damage, and Fury Swipes to activate Weak Armor.

Held item: Dread Plate

Try this out:

Night Slash (Really powerful because Liepard is a dark type and is holding the dread plate)

Fake Out (Always a useful move to have)

Toxic (Poisoning drains their hp and in a long battle damage gets really big)

Giga Impact (Good for a burst of power)

Seen as Liepard has good speed souse night slash or giga impact on a weaker opponent and finish it without taking damage. For harder opponents use toxic to give you the upper hand. Use fake out first to get a bit more damage in that could really help.

Liepard (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Limber
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Grass Knot
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

1 Nasty plot = 602 Special attack.

Now you have a bunch of coverage moves to try to take your opponent down with.
Shadow Ball + HP Fighting gives some good coverage, while Grass Knot is for the occasion that you have a heavier ( and bulkier ) opponent come in on you.

I like this liepard set! Its pretty strategic (probably) to make use of this assassin of the NU.

Liepard @ Liechi Berry

Trait: Unburden

EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef

Adamant Nature

- Fake Out
- Night Slash
- Aerial Ace
- Sucker Punch

A late game player. It works best on the verge of failure, increasing its attack and doubling its speed, becoming a perfect assassin of NU. Its not practical but it is effective and I love it.

Here's a great set to annoy people in conjunction with a U-turn/Fake out/Regenerator Meinfoo!

Liepard:

Physical set

EV's: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP

Ability: Limber/Prankster

Moveset:

U-Turn: Scouting, comboing.

Fake Out: Entry move, breaks subs, sturdy etc.

Sucker Punch: Great priority, STAB

Ariel Ace/Taunt/Thunder Wave: Ace is for coverage, while Taunt or Thunder Wave are for a prankster set.

Like previously stated, this set combos extremely well with a regenerator Meinshao, and it also makes a fairly decent lead/scout.

Liepard is one of my favorite Dark types for whatever reason, it did see some use from me in RU, not too shabby for what it did as a knock off user and a prankster. there's probably better stuff out there though.

Ozelot (Liepard) @ Leftovers

enter image description here
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Encore/Thunder Wave
- Knock Off
- U-turn/Fake Out

Taunt is a nice move to have with Prankster, allowing you to stop setups. Encore is pretty trolly stuff and it can save your team if you can get it off at the right time or you can alternatively use Thunder Wave to cripple. Knock Off is a handy STAB to cripple item users. The last slot is a matter of preference, I prefer using U-Turn or Fake Out.
