>Better trainers should be cleverer than worse trainers. The way the AI decides how good a trainer is is by looking at how much money the player will receive by defeating them - the more money they give out, the better a trainer they are, and the better their AI is.

Therefore if we take that into consideration the worst Pokémon Trainer class in each Gen are:

Gen 1: Swimmer, followed closely by Bug Catcher and Psychic, then Lass and Youngster.

So the trainer's with the lowest Al in Gen 1 should be two Bug Catcher's in Viridian Forest (Red and Blue) and one in Yellow.

Gen 2: Swimmer, followed closely by Bug Catcher and Youngster.

So the trainer's with the lowest Al in Gen 2 should be Bug Catcher Wade located on Johto Route 31 (Gold, Silver and Crystal).

Gen 3: Tuber, followed closely by Swimmer and Sis and Bro (FRLG), then Bug Catcher and Ninja Boy.

So the trainer's with the lowest Al in Gen 3 should be Bug Catcher Lyle in Petalburg Woods and Tuber Simon located on Hoenn Route 109 (Ruby and Sapphire), Bug Catcher Lyle in Petalburg Woods and Tuber Simon, Tuber Chadley and Tuber Lola on Hoenn Route 109 (Emerald), and Swimmer Luis in Cerulean Gym (Fire Red and Leaf Green).

Gen 4: Tuber, followed closely by Ninja Boy, Swimmer and Poké Kid.

So the trainer's with the lowest Al in Gen should be Tuber Jared located on Sinnoh Route 213 (Diamond, Pearl and Platinum) and Bug Catcher Wade located on Johto Route 31 (HeartGold and SoulSilver).

Gen 5: Preschooler, followed closely by Lass, Youngster, Swimmer and Twins.

So the trainer's with the lowest Al should be Preschooler Doyle, Preschooler Tulley and Preschooler Wendy located on Unova Route 3 (Black and White) and Preschooler Albert and Preschooler Lin on Unova Route 3 (Black and White 2).

Gen 6: Preschooler, followed closely by Swimmer, followed closely by Suspicious Lady, then Black Belt (Lumious City), Beauty (Lumious City), Waitress (Lumious City), Chef (Lumious City), Garcon (Lumious City), Owner (Lumious City) Punk Girl (Lumious City) and Punk Guy (Lumious City).

So the trainer's with the lowest Al in Gen 6 should be Preschooler Oliver located on Kalos Route 3 (X and Y).

Please note that information was very limited especially for the older games, if you think I made an error somewhere along the lines please point it out to me so I can correct it, but I'm fairly certain this answer is correct as it stands.

Psychic trainer class has the lowest AI. Are you serious. xD
I never said the Psychic trainer class has the lowest Al in every Gen just Gen 1, as out of all the trainer classes they reward the player with the least amount of money in Generation 1 along with Bug Catchers :3
Bu still, the Psychic has the lowest AI. Isn't that somewhat illogical?
Yeah I understand what you're saying, it is a little surprising tbh but it's just what Bulbapedia says when it comes to prize money. Even more surprising is that there are only 4 Psychic trainer class trainers in Gen 1, all of which are located in Saffron City Gym according to Bulbapedia.

But now that you come to mention Gen 1, I realise I missed Swimmer training class out.

Generally speaking, a trainer's AI correlates with the money he/she gives out upon defeat; however, in each Gen there is

The Iconic Trainer With The 6-Magikarp Team! [in each generation]

with access to the move Splash only. These trainers could have the greatest AI in all of the games but it wouldn't matter as they are the easiest trainers to beat - not being able to attack you apart from by the recoil move struggle if Splashes PP runs out (this shouldn't happen by the way - you're fighting a weak Pokemon with no moves that have any good effect).
