Mine knows:

Toxic: Bastiodon is a Staller. Can't have a good Staller without Toxic.

Block: Stops the foe from switching to another Pokemon.

Rest: If Bastiodon ever gets too damaged, this move will just heal it while Toxic still does damage.

Avalanche: In case Bastiodon ever need to use an actual attack, this is a good choice. Low Speed helps this a lot, high accuracy, and deals with Ground types.

LOL!
Toxic is stalling and works well with the nice bulk.
Fire Blast is to try to get steel types out of there, and actually does some damage to Ferroythorn and Forretress if you decide to use it in OU.
Protect helps stall, while Rest is nice with the bulk and this can really piss an opponent off.
Metal burst is good on Bastiodon generally, but it does good damage when the opponent attacks and works well because Bastiodon is slow.

I like this set:

*Toxic-self explanatory
*Metal Burst-great for shooting damage back at the opposition
*Taunt-great tanking move and works great with Metal Burst
*Earthquake/Stone Edge/Iron Head-just an attack when/if you need it. I prefer EQ over the STAB moves personally, because Stone Edge has low PP and unreliable accuracy and Bastiodon is meant to last a long time (just keep it away from Fighting, Ground, and Water attacks) and Iron Head doesn't have good coverage.

Here's a good gen IV moveset for the mighty Bastiodon:

• Toxic (standard staller move)
• Iron Head* (my particular Basty had impish nature so his attack was vastly 'better' than his sp attack, making me prioritise physical attacks)
• Rest (nothing's more annoying than whittling a tank down, only to see it return to full health)
• Sleep Talk (don't want to be sitting on your thumbs letting your opponent get 2 free shots in)

*Decent alternative attacking moves are Avalanche, Flash Cannon, Metal Burst, Earthquake, Flamethrower... basically it's all down to the individual Bastiodon/team as to which move you think will complement best.
