What is a good moveset for Lopunny?

1 vote

Mine is EV trained in defense, Speed, and Sp. Def. It has the ability Klutz. It holds a Toxic Orb. It knows:

Magic Coat: Figure out why I have this move from my last question.

Switcheroo: Gives the foe my Toxic Orb.

Substitute: Works well with Baton Pass.

Baton Pass: Passes on Substitute.

Both answers have great moveset ideas. I can't decide on a best answer!
ThX, I thought you would have put this strategy on Lopunny yourself.
I'd say just to leave it without one, they're both the best answer.
No, thats not good.............
Flip a coin? rock paper scissors? knife fight?
Fine, trachy will do it, I call heads.
Looks like I've got miles prower.
It landed on its side. :)
I knew someone would get it. :)

Toxic- she's got defense

protect

return/bounce-If you want a fighting coverage, not very good as it's 2 turns, I'd go with return, Better power and STAB, plus, you need happiness to evolve anyway

rest/attract/magic coat-rest to keep her healthy, or attract to further hinder foes, or magic coat if you din't need stuff getting in your way

or if you want to be a real jerk (good for fun, but I wouldn't use this competetively)

Endure

endeavor

Quickattack

shadow ball-just in case you find a ghost type that quick attack won't hit.

(other useful attacks)

baton pass-can pass agility for epic sweeping

switcheroo-works well with ability

Agility-boost speed, can be passed

substitute-...

Hey, you practically copied this from serebi, didnt you!
I thought this up myself!
I made the 1st set, remembered the joke one from the Lv 2 pidgey, and saw some other good moves, you can't ignore a pokemon that has baton pass AND agility.
All right, I Beleive you, I know youve had alot of moveset experience, it was just a joke, your movesets are slightly better then Serebii! Same as Me and Trachy.
Sorry about that. But for the record, had you said My set was copied from smogon, I would have to kill you, but you understand why... smogon sucks at movesets.
I don't even know what smogon is, can you give me a link? Im too lazy/buzy to search it myself.

They give movesets and rate teams, while making what they set standards for tiers, which a lot are way off...
They also love to abuse entry hazards.
Thx, why do they give movesets for nonevolvd pokemon. (Said Sarcastically)Geniuses., there are many on Smogon.com.
That's for the petite cup. Since a lot of people get tired of seeing the same pokemon and movesets in competetive battling, they agree to use level 50 and only unevolved pokemon, like I would have to use cyndaquil instead of typhlosion, and you would have to use aron and mudkip. it's just to change things up a bit. PIkachu is practilly uber in that sense since it has the light ball to double its power.

descriptionSalamandastron boxing hare (a reference to the Redwall book series)
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Limber/Cute-charm(Be female if you use this one)
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Hp

Work-up
Ice-punch
Thunder-punch
Fire-punch/Jump-kick/Drain-punch

No Swords-dance :( No Bulk-up :( well I guess we will have to settle for Work-up for boosting that below average Attack stat. Ice-punch and Thunder-punch are the bolt-beam coverage moves. Fire-punch and Jump-kick are for coverage if you choose Limber, but if you chose Cute-charm you can use the much better in my opinion Drain-punch which provides coverage and healing.

Specs-punny
Item: Choice-specs
Ability: Cute-charm
Nature: Timid/Modest
EVs: 252 S.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Hp

Thunderbolt
Ice-beam
Hidden-power-(Fire)
Uproar

I know what you are thinking "a special set with a base 54 S.Attack?" Well it can be good because with Modest nature, full EVs in S.Attack and Choice Specs gives her 340.5 S.Attack that is not to bad for NU, with Timid it is 306.45 S.Attack. Thunderbolt and Ice-beam are for Bolt-beam-coverage. Hidden-power-(Fire) is some more coverage. Uproar is STAB.
