Yes, there is a chance. I'm sure you know this, but an egg has a 1/8192 chance to be shiny. So if you get lucky, yes. Soft reset BEFORE you take the egg. Once you take the egg, it's gender, IVs, nature, shininess or not will be set.

if you have to reset BEFORE you TAKE the egg, will be much faster to take a slugma and just keep taking eggs, rather than hatching one egg at a time constantly (5 times the eggs and nearly half the hatch time due to slugma's abilities means 10X more likely: 10/8192 chance, not 1/8192
