For people who don't have the privilege of retagging any questions because they have not gained Expert, have a thread where users such as this guy can go and post on the thread questions that need retagging for whatever reasons, that Experts, Editors or Moderators may have missed.

(It's getting quite late so I'll respond to any feedback, criticism in the morning.)

You said it yourself before, if an Expert+ doesn't re-tag something as they see it, it doesn't need to be re-tagged. I report thread for tagging seems like a waste of time. If it's only slightly irrelevant, there's no real need to , and Experts+ are constantly on almost all the time. If they missed something, it's probably because of their laziness. Most people won't care if a tags wrong, so they probably won't try to report it either.

Anyway, could be subject to opinion. A tag that someone might find useless could have simply misunderstood, and the tag was actually correct, or at least correct to the person using it for their purposes.
I don't want you to get the wrong idea, this thread wouldn't have to be a constant thing, it's just there if someone needs it.

Here are a few reasons why I think we should have this thread:

Questions with inappropriate tags are reported and then retagged, this may include tags containing spam, foul language, inappropriate content and/or wrong tags.
It stops users asking a individual question in Meta, reporting a question as in the case in my description.
Experts, Editors and Moderators may have missed the question with the inappropriate/wrong tags, as in the case above, that question was 2 years old.
If the site has the appropriate tags on questions (apart from in RMT) the site looks even more professional as a whole.
Users know what to do if they see a question with inappropriate or the wrong tags.
Like i said, anything like that will be changed. Experts are almost always on, and people just tend to tell people if something needs changing. This is more or less a waste of time.
That's your opinion and you're entitled to it, look I don't want to argue with you but you're making too big a deal out of this, this is not a drastic or big suggestion, just a small one, it's similar to the Spelling/Grammar mistakes thread but just for tags. You might call it "a waste of time" but the fact of the matter is it takes less than 2 minutes to create a thread. Fair enough if you don't like the idea and if PM doesn't want to implement the idea then that's also fine, I only bought it up as a potential solution to stop users clogging up Meta with questions like the one above and as a solution to prevent inappropriate and wrong tags on questions. No big deal right?
