Here is the website in question for reference. Didn't they completely copy pokemondb.net? Are they affiliated with us? or is it shameful copying? Can Pokemaster take legal actions in this case, to shut down the copy?

Don't we have copyright or something?
How did you find this?
How is their Pokebase so similar yet slightly different from ours?
what the...

HOW?
even the questions are the same

The site just seems to copy the newest "skin" (not sure how else to put it) of the website.
You can't go beyond page 1 of users or questions  and etc.

How do you just copy a website like that? What's the motive?
@Geeky Jawa
Pokemaster is our site's owner, I guess all legal actions and copyrights are his to take.
I directly wrote in Google: pokemondb.net Muguet RMT because y/n, and then there was this last link named theflyingjalapeno.com, I had to check it out. you know the rest.
@sumwun
Some hackers probably. Must have got the direct code of this website and copy it. There is this slight difference though in that it feels like a house without furniture: You get to see the same from outside but it doesn't feel the same inside, if that makes sense.
@Sapph's art:
Again, I guess they're hackers. You're making a good point: It's like a superficial plagiaristic copy of pokemondb.net, with a dank name and a missing feel. The motive? No idea. theflyingjalapeno is such an obscure name, there's no way the average bear finds it while browsing for actual jalapenos - or flying stuff. It is not dangerous, malicious or anything. It doesn't seem to generate money either.
I don't understand this at all
The Flying Jalapeno is a closed down restaurant according to Google.
Yes I saw this before. Will post an answer later but @Muguet out of interest how did you come across that site?
@Pokemaster As I said to Geeky Jawa, I searched Google for: pokemondb.net Muguet RMT and then there was this last link named theflyingjalapeno.com among 9 results; I then decided to follow the link since it had a quirky name and that's all :)
What if theflyingjalapeno is the real Pokemon Database and we're just the impostors? o_O
Notice how theflyingjalapeno doesn't even have my question on their page. Coincidence much?
When I went to the website a while ago it was updated with posts which were around 30 min before this question was asked.
What is theflyingjalapeno is an alternate-universe version of the PokeBase, and this is the first sign of two realities crashing into each other, leading to the ultimate destruction of both?
It is actually Universe A, while we are in Universe 1. Incineroar used his majestic macho man powers to save us from the nexus of alola crashing.
@trachy, Astronautical, Rick Gastly
I genuinely laughed reading your comments XD
Note. I browsed for theflyingjalapeno.com on my iPad, and I found it was fueled with more ads than here. Their goal was to make money, then, by copying this website. But how in the world will they actually make money with such an obscure domain name? it does not make sense. No average person would browse for flying jalapenos.
> No average person would browse for flying jalapenos.

That my friend, is where you are wrong. You have much to learn...
Apparently, it's impossible to create an account on that website.
As you simultaneously create an account on this website, therefore proving the theories,
LOL the site even copied this question.

this is hilarious

Firstly, everyone should stop visiting that site and definitely don't try logging in on there as it could be used to steal your passwords.

I saw this a while back in my site analytics, and thought nothing more of it since I assumed Google would have flagged it as spam/duplicate content. But it's strange that it appears in search results sometimes. Looks like they're basically just copying all the HTML code with a "scraper" program and changing pokemondb.net to their domain in all the links.

But I have a cunning plan!

I've added a bit of code to this site that will redirect you back here if you're on theflyinjalapeno. Hopefully their scraper will pick this up and anyone visiting there will end up here :D

The redirection is so smooth, it's hilarious! :D
Wow, it's so hilarious to show that a simple line of code can destroy a scrapers dreams.
I see your Blackadder reference
Don't we all?
i did a wall test to see if your plan was successful and it was
