one of my favourite Pokemon

Adamant nature for +atk -sp.atk

Ability: Iron Barbs
Held Item: Rocky Shelmet XD

This is what I used for the in-game, and I really like it:

Seed Bomb/Power Whip - I like Seed Bomb for consistency, but if you want the force you know what to go for.

Thunder Wave - slow em down, cause snorlax runs faster than this guy. cant blame him, he only has those puny vines to drag his giant steel head around

Iron Head - strong attack, and with Thunder Wave, it lets you utilize the flinching effect

Rest - I dont know why more people dont use this, but its great with thunderwave, and hes a brick house. I wouldn't use it against sp.atk Pokemon, but if hes put up against a physical attacker [and that's the point right?], let it kill itself while Ferro catches up on some Z's.

why not leech seed over Rest? or a Leftovers + Leech seed combo?

New to this, bear with me.

Gyro Ball Gives you STAB, with Curse becomes beastly.
Seeb Bomb Powerful, yet unreliable. Power Whip also works, but Seed Bomb is better IMO.
Bulldoze Screw you other Steel Types. Also works on Fire Types that could take out Ferrothron.
Curse Boost for attack, defense, and even helps boost Gyro Ball for even more beastly STAB.

This Ferrothorn is a lead. T-Waves and sets up Stealth Rock. Power Whip is for damage and Leech Seed is for healing.

I've used this moveset with my level 84 Ferrothorn and it's great:

• Power Whip
• Iron Head
• Bulldoze
• Hone Claws

Power up accuracy and Attack with Hone Claws, making Power Whip more reliable. Bulldoze is great for Fire-types, and lower's speed. People seem to be using Gyro Ball with Bulldoze, which makes no sense because Bulldoze lowers Speed and higher opposing Speed is crucial for Gyro Ball to work the best. Iron Head is the better choice here. c:
