I'll leave this to someone who has used Celebi.
Looks like I'll have to do some theory-mongering. I'll answer as soon as the bot is up so I can test it out.

Okay, since everybody here except for DD seems to not understand the point of Celebi, I am going to answer this even though I have only used Celebi in Shoddy Battle.

Okay, there are two main movesets you can use for Celebi.

  1. This moveset makes use of Baton Pass, mainly Swords Dance or Nasty Plot. It can also use Grass Knot or Seed Bomb+Thunder Wave in order to do some damage of its own or make things easier for it.

  2. This is a normal set. Thunder Wave, Leaf Storm/Grass Knot, U-Turn, and Trick all work well together. In fact, you can use Trick with Toxic or Flame Orb, U-Turn and Natural Cure removes the status. Celebi also uses Leaf Storm well as it switches out so often. Thunder Wave is for any Pokemon after the Pokemon you tricked.

There are some other good options though. Hidden Power Fire can be used to deal with Steel types, and Hidden Power Ice can deal with Dragons and Flying types. Earth Power deals with Fire types and Steel types, while Perish Song is good Psuedo-Hazing. Calm mind is an option for Baton Passing. Energy Ball can be used for reliable STAB. Psychic also provides STAB. Recover is also a good option.

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold
Evs: 200 Speed, 200 Defense, 110 Hp

Swords-dance
Calm-mind
Baton-pass
Ancient-power/Recover

Swords-Dance and Calm-mind are boosts for Baton-pass. Ancient-power can make use of Calm-mind boosts and potentially get boosts for Baton-pass and covers weaknesses, while Recover would be for healing so you can do more boosts.

When Celebi isn't able to set up in the beginning or middle-ish of the match, it could be problematic.
With Ancient Power only having 5 PP, Celebi becomes nearly useless when the time your attackers faint, and Celebi isn't able to pass to anything else worth passing.
I suggest you replace on of Calm Mind or Swords Dance for another attacking move; but other than that, nice set for a Baton Pass team!

Celebi @ Life Orb

description

Role: Scout / Sweeper

Trait: Natural Cure

EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • U-turn
  • Recover
  • Zen Headbutt
  • Seed Bomb

Jolly and Life orb evens out his sweeper stats. Kinda.
U-Turn can scout, and heal any status you've taken thanks to Natural Cure, Recover can keep you alive since 100 100 100 bulk isn't too bad, Zen Headbutt and Seed Bomb are Dual STAB.
