What is a good moveset for Rotom (Wash form)?

I placed this here since all the forms were not in place, and putting all the rotom sets on the "all forms" question would get very jumbled.

Wash Rotom @ Choice Scarf

Trait: Levitate

EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd

Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

  • Volt Switch/Thunderbolt
  • Trick
  • Hidden Power [Ice]/Hidden Power [Fire]
  • Hydro Pump

This set makes a great lead.
Volt Switch is there for STAB scouting, if this set is used as a lead, Volt Switch is probably the better option, if not Thunderbolt is also a good option here. Trick to get away your choice scarf, can lock your opponent into a stat powering up move or such.
HP Ice gives some nice coverage against dragons while HP Fire gives some nice coverage against scizor and ferrothorn.
Both counters Rotom Wash's only weakness that being grass.
Hydro Pump makes for dual STAB.

Well then, I think I'll post one here too.

Rotom-W @ Leftovers
Rotom
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 212 HP / 96 SAtk / 200 SDef
Calm Nature
- Confuse Ray
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch

Saywut?? Confuse Ray for max trolliness, force a switch and burn the incoming poke. Hydro Pump, go big or go home. Volt Switch, Switch out. Specially defensive with decent HP and some hard hitting special attacks.

with Wide Lens

EV's : Sp.Att and HP

Ability:Levitate

  • Hydro Pump
  • Hex/Shadow Ball
  • Toxic/Thunder Wave/HP [Ice]/HP [Fire]
  • Thunder

Hydro Pump = STAB .With Wide Lens is more reliable .
Hex is powered up with Toxic/Thunder Wave.Go with Shadow Ball if you want coverage by
HP [Ice]/HP [Fire] .
Toxic powers up Hex while damaging the foe and Thunder Wave causes paralysis. If you want coverage go with HP [Ice]/HP [Fire].
Thunder = STAB .With Wide Lens is more reliable .

Zoom Lens = Higher Crit rate, not higher accuracy. That's Wide Lens.

And if you're running a low acc Wide Lens set, replace Thunderbolt with Thunder.
I mixed up the lenses and you are correct with the thunder

Here's another one

Rotom

@Life Orb or Leftovers
Thunderbolt STAB
Hex great with thunder wave
Thunder Wave
Hydro Pump STAB

Rotom

@ Leftover or Life Orb
Discharge STAB
Hex with discharges 30 % paralize
Hydro Pump STAB
Duel screens both good to protect

i hope you liked

Rotom-W@ zap plate
ability: levitate
EV: 4Def,252 spd and spatk.
timid nature

  • Shadow Ball
  • Volt Switch
  • Thunderbolt
  • Hydro Pump

Shadow ball is for types that resist electric/water type attacks, thunderbolt & volt switch STAB, Thunderbolt is for more power, while Volt Switch is when you encounter Grass types, and hydro pump is for STAB

I think this is my favorite Rotom form, because it's kinda like Lanturn with only one weakness, thanks to Levitate.

Item: Damp Rock

Rain Dance: this will set up...

Thunder + Hydro Pump: Both powerful STAB moves boosted by Rain Dance.

Signal Beam: Still gotta deal with those Grass-types, and this is Rotom's only super effective move against them. It's pretty good, all things considered. Decent power, plus can cause Confusion? Sounds good to me!

Nature: Calm(+SpD,-Atk)
Ev's: 252Hp, 128SpA, 128SpD
(I think the extra bulk helps more than speed, even with trick)

  • Trick
  • Will-o-Wisp
  • Hydro Pump
  • Volt Switch

Trick helps neuter those who try to set up on you as well as benefit you with a life orb boost or leftovers from the enemy, Will-o-wisp cripples physical attackers, Volt Switch gives stab-damage and a switch-out after trick or will-o-wisp, and hydro pump is your main damaging move.

He needs an item to Trick to them. I know that a Choice Scarf works very nicely against lead pokemon.
