Flame Burst (move)

Effects

Flame Burst deals damage and will also cause splash damage to any Pokemon adjacent to the target (including the user if Flame Burst is targeted at an ally).

The splash damage caused to a Pokemon is ¹⁄₁₆ of its maximum HP. It is typeless and not counted as regular damage but treated similarly to weather damage, which means that:

• It does not trigger Flash Fire or Color Change.
• It does not affect Pokemon with the Magic Guard ability.
• It cannot be shielded by moves like Protect, Endure or other protection moves.
• It bypasses Wonder Guard, Mold Breaker, Telepathy, Substitute and Destiny Bond.
