Whats mc
Middle cup becuase of light ball Pikachu is standerd
It isn't the same
It's still going to function like raichu fir the most part, just with light ball.

I have a question. ~-~WILL~-~ said that hidden power for a pikachu is fire type, yet i have a shin pikachu with a hidden power of dragon type. is this better or worse for my pikachu?

I'm pretty sure that Pokemaster's link is pretty much the same thing, but...

There's no room for setup with Pikachu. With the frail defenses, Pikachu will never take more than two hits in the standard game, and will be lucky to take more than one. That means no Agility and no Nasty Plot.

This is the standard set for NU/UU Pikachu. It's a set I usually see when I see Pikachu being used, so I may as well credit this set:

Thunderbolt (STAB)

Grass Knot (Great Ground-type coverage!)

Signal Beam (A nice coverage move)

Hidden Power [Fire] (Great wall coverage, as Ferrothorn, Bronzong, and other Steel-types won't be taking kindly to it)

Make sure they don't use Earthquake when they Dig, since EQ does Double Damage when they're underground.
With Pikachu, it won't really matter. It's gonna die either way.

Pikachu (M) @ Light Ball
Trait: Static
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Volt Tackle
- Quick Attack
- Fake Out
- Brick Break

Your basic suicidal Pikachu. Fake Out allows it to get a hit of right away. You can then Volt Tackle the foe, hopefully KOing them. If not, they should be in range for a Quick Attack, which can also be used along with Fake Out to revenge kill Pokemon with some health still left to them. Brick Break is type coverage of course, and can break dual screens if you meet any cool old style battlers.

I'm always curious Trachy, what does "(M)" mean when you type it in between the Pokemon's name and the item?
It means Pikachu is a Male, it is basically the gender of the Pokemon.
Im gonna guess that ttrachy does real training and figures everything out in doing so, then he copys most of the pokemon's  bio  down for his movesets. Just a guess
This moveset is one of my favorites for Pikachu

Pikachu (M) @ Leftovers

  • Rain Dance
  • Thunder
  • Grass Knot
  • Protect

Rain Dance = Thunder Full accuracy
Thunder = STAB Great power + 100% accuracy with Rain Dance
Grass Knot = Type coverage
Protect = For defences

Note: This works best withDouble/Triple battles; Pikachu is too frail....

Hope I helped ........

Pikachu is too frail to set up Rain Dance.
still,if the opponent is using dig,or dive,etc.
If they use those Pikachu will die on the next turn.
we can switch into a strong resistant pokemon, finish with it, and let pikachu do the rest for 3 turns....Still, i thought on this matter too....
The blunt truth of it is, Pikachu Won't survive enough to set up rain dance on most occasions, if you use enough strategy to somehow force a switch, than you might be able to set up. But all you've done now is given yourself 100% accuracy Thunder, When you have Politoed as a possible member of pretty much any team who just switches in, and you have everlasting rain for the rest of the battle, unless another weather tries to disturb it. In this case, just put " With Rain support ".
yes,but this is awesome in double or triple battles, any way,you all are right.....
Then put " For use in Double / Triple Battles " You have to be detailed if you want to get your point across.
k.....Thanx!
