Targets the user.

Effects

Growth raises the user's Attack and Special Attack by one stage each. During strong sunlight it raises each stat by two stages.

Stats can be raised to a maximum of +6 stages each.

Changes

In Generations 1-4, Growth only increases Special Attack. In Generation 1 it increases the Special stat, which encompassed Special Attack and Special Defense.

Gold/Silver Crystal	Raises the SPCL. ATK rating.
Ruby/Sapphire Emerald	Forces the body to grow and heightens SP. ATK.
FireRed/LeafGreen	The user’s body is forced to grow, raising the SP. ATK stat.
Diamond/Pearl Platinum HeartGold/SoulSilver	The user’s body is forced to grow all at once. It raises the Sp. Atk stat.
Black/White	The user’s body grows all at once, raising the Attack and Sp. Atk stats.
