The chart below shows the strength of the Steel type against every type combination. The numbers in the squares show the fraction damage the move will do (i.e. ½ means 50% damage and not very effective, while 4 means 400% - super-effective).
For example, look where the Grass and Poison types intersect to see how good a Steel-type move would be against a pokemon like Venusaur. You will see that it is 100%.
