Poison Gas causes the target to become poisoned. Poisoned Pokémon lose 1⁄8 of their maximum HP each turn.
In Generation 5, Poison Gas has 85% accuracy.
In Generations 1-4, Poison Gas has 55% accuracy and only targets a single opponent.
When a Pokémon is holding Poisonium Z and uses its Z-Power, Poison Gas turns into Z-Poison Gas and raises Defense one stage, in addition to its usual effect as above.
Targets all adjacent foes.
