Effects

In Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee and Pokémon Sword/Shield, Teleport switches the user out.

Changes

  • From Pokémon Red & Blue to Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Teleport has a priority of 0.
  • From Pokémon Red & Blue to Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Teleport allows the user to flee a wild battle. It will always fail in a Trainer battle. It will fail in wild battles if the user would normally be unable to flee (due to a trapping move like Fire Spin or ability like Arena Trap).

Z-Move effects

When a Pokémon is holding Psychium Z and uses its Z-Power, Teleport turns into Z-Teleport and fully restores the user's HP, in addition to its usual effect as above.

Outside of battle

If you are outside, Teleport will instantly transport you back to the last Pokémon Center you visited. It does not work in caves or buildings. In Generation 4 it does not work in any town or city, only in routes.
