Hi everyone! As I'm sure you've noticed, I finally changed my name! I also added a new Gravatar to go with it. Let me know what you think of it.

V The different world part is so relatable, although I remember all the things which happened cause of my crazy memory lol.
Also jsyk, normal spaces don't count as characters at the start and end of a username. Pretty sure that's the case everywhere on the internet.

Sometimes, it feels like I was in a different world during COVID. Honestly, the past two years are kind of a blur. But I'm back now!

I never played Mystery Dungeon, but I do like the idea of being turned into a Pokémon. I certainly loved how different the game was from most core series installments. Getting kicked out of Jubilife was one of my favorite parts too; I definitely wasn't expecting that, or I'd have had my best team members with me at the time. Luckily though, Abra showed up and gave me access to the pastures.

I really liked Legends: Arceus too, especially the story. It sorta reminds me of Mystery Dungeon. Instead of being a kid turned into a Pokemon, you remain human, but you're still sent to the world of Pokemon. And back in time, even. It's just... different from the usual Pokemon fare, and I love it. It feels like your character has more personality, and the text choices further enhance it. I've always loved being able to choice from two or more choices like that, even if most of them don't affect the story at all. Then I get to choose whichever seems more fitting based on my personality. Basically, how I'd react. Anyway, one of my favorite parts of the story was when the player was kicked out of Jubilife Village. It's something you wouldn't really expect, and it's awesome.
And as for Scarlet/Violet, I'm pretty excited for it. You should've seen my face when I saw that Seviper had actual scales (definitely the best part of the game). The starters are... meh, but I really like Sprigatito. I have low hopes for his evolutions, but he's still very cute. I can't wait to see what the Legendaries look like. And, of course, the graphics are very good. I can't help but wonder what the story's like, too.
And yeah, I remember you. It's been a while. :3

By the way, who else has played Legends: Arceus and absolutely loved it? Personally, I love the immersion of the character into the world and the seamless entry into battles. I also liked seeing and exploring the Sinnoh of old. I'd love to be able to do the same in Unova.
While we're on the subject of Pokémon's newer games, I came onto the Database earlier not expecting to do anything other than make some minor tweaks to my bio. So imagine my surprise when I found out that two new Pokémon games are coming out. They look amazing so far (based on what little I've seen of them in the trailer) but I'm curious: what do the rest of you think?
