Version-exclusive Pokémon in Scarlet & Violet

Like all the paired games in the Pokémon series, Scarlet & Violet each include Pokémon that cannot be obtained in the alternate version. To obtain Pokémon missing from your version you need to trade with someone who has the opposite version.

All the exclusive Pokémon are listed below. Scarlet & Violet also have some additional version-exclusive features: a different professor guides the player in each game (Professor Sada in Scarlet or Professor Turo in Violet); and the schools also have different names (Naranja Academy in Scarlet or Uva Academy in Violet).
