Favorite Pokémon? Why should that matter. For each and every purpose this site covers, there is no criteria of quality except power. And if the only criterion is power, then the most powerful Pokémon, Eternamax Eternatus, should be the best answer. Or if we judge by the theoretical power, then Arceus would then be the choice. Or, given the power of underdogs and memes, in reality Magikarp should beat those other two by light years. But of course, power is not the main selling point of the best Pokémon; rather, the cuteness and coolness is. In cuteness, I should think anyone who disputes Vulpix as the undefeatable champion out of their mind. Coolness wise, there is much more disputability than cuteness, but I should say that the most likely coolness candidate is probably Charizard. But while both of these Pokémon are the forerunners of their category, they are also lacking in the other. Hence why Vulpix is not on the cover of Pokémon Red, and why Charizard is not Ash Ketchum's recurring and only permanent party member. And, to speak of that: which Pokémon is Ash's partner? It is Pikachu. Yes, the question we have been asked has already been answered: the correct choice of favorite Pokémon is Pikachu. Or so it would seem, would it not? Yes, Pikachu, with its mighty thunder, is in no way lacking in the coolness department. And given the creature it's based off and its generally spherical shape, it is also very highly ranking in the order of cuteness. This is exactly why it holds the spot of Pokémon Mascot. But it is not alone in this role. If we are honest with ourselves, we shall see that Eevee is also Pokémon Mascot. And if we look at it, we can see why. It, also, is undeniably cute. And while it, in its purest form, does not have as great of a coolness factor as Pikachu... what's that? Eevee evolves into a Pokémon ALSO capable of shooting thunderbolts? AND it can evolve into seven other forms? It then, not only has as much coolness as Pikachu and arguably more cuteness, but it also offers something that everyone wants: it offers choice. Yes, it is clear that Eevee, and not Pikachu, is the true greatest Pokémon. And with that, I answer the question. What is my favorite Pokémon? The answer is Wailord.

WHAT'S THE POINT OF EVEN HAVING A PAGE IF IT'S UNCLEAR AND OUTDATED? And don't just tell me to look on a different website. If you really aspire to be a website containing everything relevant to the Pokémon Games, nay, if you aspire to be THE very Pokémon Database, not simply a database of Pokémon data but THE POKÉMON DATABASE... then you need to either get the right information, or remove the page altogether.
