I just hid your post regarding Friend Safari requests, and I though you'd appreciate it if I told you why. First off, as you mentioned, threads really aren't what the PokeBase aims for; those are for a traditional forum (which coincidentally we will be getting soon!).
Also, the thread already exists on another section where it received permission to be opened; you can find it on the following page. It has over 160 responses so it is definitely a good way to collect codes.
