I watched my first Pokemon episode (Challenge of the Samurai) while I was in 4th grade (1998) followed by seeing Pokemon: The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back in theaters the same year, but not till now have I considered the competitive side of online battling. Pokemon Y is only the 4th game I have owned, and the only of which that includes more than the original 151. Until now I've only played Red, Yellow, and Pokemon Stadium but the many hours spent on these games could be enough to make me more than a potential threat online.
My potential is tested against all of the new information that I am so suddenly comparing to what I knew to be true from my childhood, and that is why I am here. I hope that my classic flavor will not be my undoing as I fulfill my destiny, To Become A Pokemon Master!
