After you find one you like, it helps to tweak it to your liking, especially because the meta changes often, and many teams on RMT may need updates to help with viability.

Sure. I don't  have time to do anything super in depth right now, so I will be back...

First, I don't know if you're using Showdown, or Champions but I know that Showdown has sample teams for most formats, so try out a few of those and see which one you like best. If you're playing Champions, I know less about that but you can just borrow someone's team over on RMT and try it out.

Also, if you know what your preferred battle style is, that would help too. The more common ones are Hyper-offensive, Balance, or... Stall *shivers*
