If someone genuinely loves a game and is extremely good in said game, we shouldn’t hate—we should support them.
Gaming is a shared passion that brings people from all backgrounds together. Whether someone enjoys a mainstream title, an indie gem, a competitive shooter, or a cozy life sim, that love for games connects us. Just because someone is good at a game you don’t play, or excels in a genre you’re not into, doesn’t mean they deserve hate, jealousy, or judgment. They deserve respect—just like anyone else in the gaming community.
At the end of the day, we are all players. We all find comfort, challenge, and joy in games. What we love may differ, but the passion is the same. So instead of criticizing or tearing each other down over preferences or skill levels, let’s build a space that celebrates every kind of gamer.
The world outside is already full of enough negativity and division. Why bring that into the one place where we come to escape, to connect, and to enjoy ourselves? As gamers, we have the power to shape our community. That means choosing kindness over competition, encouragement over envy, and understanding over toxicity.
When we stand together—supporting one another, celebrating each other’s wins, and being there through the losses—we create a better environment for everyone. The gaming space can become a true haven. But that only happens if we stop the hate and start working with each other.
