Showdown-importable syntax is a way of structuring Pokemon movesets when sharing them online. It is a convention you should always follow even if you don't use Showdown, since everybody is familiar with the syntax and finds it easy to read.

It has the following form (give or take extra parameters, such as Tera Type). You can check out some moveset questions for real examples.

[Pokemon] @ [Item]
Ability: [Ability]
EVs: [#] [Stat] / [#] [Stat] / ...
[Nature] Nature
- [Move 1]
- [Move 2]
- [Move 3]
- [Move 4]

As the name suggests, this syntax can be imported/exported from Pokemon Showdown's teambuilder and other sites like PokePaste. The easiest way to put a moveset into this format is to enter it into Showdown's teambuilder (linked above), then click "Import/Export".

Note: Showdown-importable syntax pre-dates Showdown by several years, having existed in some form since the days of Shoddy Battle in the late 2000s.

What's the syntax to give the pokemon a nickname?
Nickname (Species) @ Item
You can try it yourself in the teambuilder https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/teambuilder by adding a Pokemon, giving it a name then pressing Import/Export.
