I'm sorry if I did something wrong or bad, but I honestly don't really understand. I edited my post because I genuinely thought it was wrong, not because I was "begging for points." "Nobody minds if you edit stuff within reasonable timeframes (like, first few days)", right?
https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/meta/83950/suggestion-edited-posts-will-recent-activity-change-small#:~:text=no%20one%20minds%20if%20you%20edit%20stuff%20within%20reasonable%20timeframes%20(like%2C%20first%20few%20days)
as for the "I'll just occasionally randomly edit one of my old answers to put it on top of the recent activity, so more people see it." I just want to let you know that that was quite a while ago, as in, when I still has less than 300 points and did not know the rules or what people liked/accepted versus did not very well. I'll make sure to delete that, as I didn't even remember it was still there and certainly did not know something on my wall bothered anyone.
And also, as a response to your more personal message, I did not have an intentional or even noticed direct turn of behavior. I thought I was doing better than ever. The uses of "was" in your sentences make me realize how much more serious it was when I poked at my answer a couple of times in the first hour or so, not begging for attention or points, and hesitant to disturb the flow of the site. Nothing obviously negative has happened to me mentally or physically recently, as far as I know, in a very non-agressive way. I sincerely hope you realize it was an accident, and that you don't think of me in a different way for the negative. I only have two questions:
Do you know of anyone else who was directly offended by this?
Can you give a few more recent examples of my posts or edits being disturbing or against the rules/general unspoken policy?
or I you could just tell me that everyone hates me and never to log in to the Pokébase again. That'd suck though, this is like my favorite thing to do on the internet.
