I've heard things like Unova is based off of the US? So what is each region based off of? Just curious.

Sinnoh/Hisui: Hokkaido
Unova: New York metropolitan area
Kalos: Metropolitan France
Alola: Hawaii
Galar: Great Britain
Paldea: Iberian Peninsula
