We all know how hard it is to take down the Steel type of a team, but this is a whole team of them, enough to make anyone go insane!

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Iron-barbs
Nature: Careful
EVs: 200 Defense, 252 S.Defense, 58 Attack

Leech-seed: Stalling and healing
Thunder-wave: Status
Power-whip: STAB
Stealth-rock: Entry hazard

My lead, yes I know Ferrothorn so predictable right, well I liked Ferrothorn back before I knew he was going to be an OU Pokemon so HAH! He is also neutral to Ground which is useful on this team.

Item: Air-balloon
Ability: Flash-fire
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 S.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Hp

Flamethrower/Magma-storm: Which STAB?
Dragon-pulse: Coverage
Earth-power: Coverage
Dark-pulse: Coverage

Sweeper, helps remove that nasty Fire weakness.

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 S.Attack, 200 S.Defense, 58 Defense

Iron-defense: Boosting
Scald: STAB+Burn chance
Ice-beam: Coverage
Aqua-ring: Healing

or should I do

EVs: 252 S.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Hp

Agility: Boosting
Hydro-pump/Surf: STAB
Ice-beam: Coverage
Flash-cannon: STAB

This is supposed to help cover Fire and Ground types.

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Technician
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Hp

Bullet-punch: STAB+Priority+Technician boost
Brick-break: Coverage
Bug-bite: STAB+Technician boost
Swords-dance: Boosting

Its Scizor....

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 S.Defense, 200 Defense, 58 Attack

Brave-bird: STAB
Spikes: Hazard
Whirlwind: EVIL
Roost: Healing

This is my Pokemon for destroying stat booster and for covering Fighting types.

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Magnet-pull
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 S.Attack, 128 Defense, 130 S.Defense

Thunderbolt: STAB
Magnet-rise: No ground weakness :D
Hidden-power(Fighting): Coverage
Light-screen: On a Mono-steel team S.Defense boosting is very useful

I am considering switching some for Genesect or Lucario. Any suggestions?

Magnezone is way too slow to set up Magnet Rise. On Heatran, put the HP EVs into Defense on Special Defense so you can survive Spikes and SR easier. Chioce Band Scizor can help out.
Where... is.... METAGROSS!?!?!
Rid yourself of brick break, and give him SUPERPOWER! (scizor)
HOLY CRAP. I never want to fight this team. Id get murdered.
Red Card on skarmory which forces switches on all that bother to mess with it
@ Mew, Yeah personally I am not a fan of Magnezone, I was thinking of setting Magnet rise up before a ground type switched in. @Giga, I am also considering him. @Tyson, Personally I prefer Leftovers.
Problem with this is that with 3 pokemon it can be beaten.Infernape gets Ferrothorn,Magnezone,Skarmory, and scissor easy.Pull out tortera for Empleon and a empleon can handle a heatran. But i have to give that adding a Empleon is something i didnt see comeing
Well, that's in theory. I kind of doubt Speed Freak would send in Scizor on infernape. If he was predicting a fire attack, he'd probably send in heatran. Besides, every Mono-Type team is going to have a lot of the same weaknesses.
Giga\ is right, where's my baby!?!?!?
Metagross! >.<

Here are sum suggestions:
ferrothorn: try including gyro ball in the moveset. or try the curse+gyroball combo i like 2 use. also try bulldoze 4 coverage
heatmor: maybe STAB ironhead 4 darkpulse
empoleon: neither! try this subpetaya empoleon
makes a great last ditch sweeper!
scizor:put pursuit on him 4 those switch addicters (it requires good predicting 2 be useful)
try x-scissor 4 struggle bug
skarmory: replace spikes 4 steel wing (unless u dicth stealth rock on ferrothorn)
magnezone: try sandstorm 4 lightscreen. it does the same thing but last longer.if not, take light clay 4 item
good luck!

Ferrothorn: Curse ends up being too difficult for Ferro to use. And anyways, it doesn't need it due to how slow it is. And Thunder Wave+Gyro Ball can cause some problems. Ferro is slow enough to sometimes pull it off, but it is still not the most favorable. Bulldoze conflicts with Gyro Ball, so I don't see why you are suggesting it. And a 60 base power move isn't the best for covering. Plus, it doesn't fit with what he is going with for Ferro.

Heatran (Not Heatmor): Steel type attacks usually suck since they get pretty much no coverage. And a physical STAB on a special Pokemon?

Scizor: He doesn't have Struggle Bug on Scizor. And if you mean Bug Bite, then Technician makes Bug Bite more powerful than X-Scissor.

Skarmory: As I said before, Steel type attacks usually suck.

Magnezone: Sandstorm does not do the same thing as Light Screen. It only increases Special Defense on Rock type Pokemon (and even then, Light Screen still has a higher boost). Also, Light Screen lasts the same amount of turns as Sandstorm.
trachy, where does your knowledge end? :P
