Well, in Splatoon 2 if you use an amiibo when the amiibo has never been used before, it will give you items, squid beatz songs, ect. but if you use the same exact amiibo on a different nintendo account. They will bring up the topic of the original owner without giving you the perks. Trust me, I tried it myself. However, this may be an exception, because my Squid Sister amiibos never touched a Splatoon 1 game. Idk I was pretty surprised when I found out that using a Splatoon 2 New Inkling Girl/Boy/Squid was registered as a Splatoon 1 Inkling Girl/Boy/Squid in Splatoon 1. Also, sometimes I watch Splatoon videos and when someone mentions the Squid Sisters they say 'Callie and Marie are cousins!!!!!!!111111!!!!' as if they were named 'Squid Cousins' lmao
