I mean, let's face it, he's easily the most badass persona user. Everyone else got their persona by facing their insecurities. Koromaru? He's too badass for insecurities. He gets his persona just for being badass. And then everyone ascends their persona by coming to terms with their hardships. Koromaru doesn't come to terms with anything. His persona is already ascended because the world has to come to terms with how badass he is.

 What's more, he makes all the other persona users pick up his poop after him. That's pretty badass.

So in conclusion, Koromaru is just too badass to NOT have in [Persona 4 Arena.]
