For Pokemon like Pheromosa I just use Smogon analysis. Nobody should waste their time raising Shedinja's HP and it's defenses, since it only has 1 HP. And you can't raise it's HP with EVs for some reason.

You sound like you understand why I do things like that. Who would leave Kyogre's defense so low to raise something that is already freakishly high (Sp. Atk, which becomes even higher when it uses Calm Mind).

Go to Showdown and hit the smogon analysis button in team-builder to what un-spread EVs look like:
