I get your point. And yes, hip-hop/rap is more focused on drugs, love, dealing with ex's, etc. I kind of like rap/hip-hop because, most of the time its relatable. Pop, on the other hand focuses more on what the artists are feeling. The message they give through their songs have powerful meanings. (For some pop songs)

the only rock artist i listen to is gin wigmore. My favorite song by her is Kill of the night :)
but i just can't get into rock for some reason. its good, but just not my type
