I never play with items on, and I haven't been to an item's tournament in the longest time, so I can't say much on Fox's use of cieling kills with the landmaster.

However, Fox himself is somewhat stable, but pretty low on the tier list, and I rarely see people use him. He has a pretty down throw to down air to down smash/up smash, so he's alright.

Personally, Falco > Fox because of his down throw chain grab.

Snake is actually ranked 7th or 8th on the American Tier list fro Brawl, so it's actually a surprise you saw no one use Snake.

Also, Snake is really only a character I use to beat people who use Ice Climbers for the chaingrabs, since his weight class and weapon arsenal allow me to either interrupt chaingrabs or seperate the Icey's with some ease.

Also, his DACUS and forward tilt are just too sexy to not use lol.
