I cannot defend OrAs. The remake should at least be as good as the original, but OrAs is worse in every way. They made the gyms and evil team easier, and then gave the player a bunch of buffs.

The gameplay in RSE is great compared to the other Gen 1-3 games, and on the same level as DPPL. Can't vouch for OrAs though. Those were a botched opportunity for a great remake.
