Iris West has to be my least favourite character in the show, and possibly television in general. Her character has zero things to offer Team Flash, and every line or screen time she has seems like a complete waste to me. Poorly acted, poorly written, and she seems to be really shoehorned into Team Flash just so they could have a strong female character and a love interest for Barry. Of course, both Caitlin and Jesse fill the role of "strong female" just as well, if not better because they are actually useful and can help Barry, while Iris is there for… what? Encouragement? Cisco and Joe do that awesomely. She's a crummy reporter, that's all, and I feel that her role is way larger than it deserves to be. I'm fine using her as a love interest, but please don't put her en par with the rest of Team Flash – they're way out of her league.

I was probably way too harsh there, Iris has some good points too, but for me she's just unbearable.

As for favorite characters, Cisco is a bro. He's the geek I aspire to be. The world needs more Ciscos.

I think it's going to create a whole new batch o' metas for the Flash gang to fight in the upcoming seasons, because they've pretty much killed/relocated/beaten all of the Earth 1 metahumans.
