Yeah, there's definitely more to Pokemon than meets the eye.

I'm actually familiar with all the game's mechanics though. I've been researching everything about competive strategy for several months now, and I watch a lot of competitive Showdown players on youtube to see how they play (PokeaimMD is probably my favorite to watch). The only thing I really lack is experience, but hey, I at least have a small chance at this tournament. That's something!

So, are you thinking about playing in the tournament?

Drohy: (updated) Drohy swims in the ocean a lot. It loves to bring Thukul (Pikachu clone) wherever it goes.
Aquaron: Evolving gave it the ability to walk on land and swim faster on land. It eats Apples that fall on the ground. Sometimes, Thukul would gift Aquaron three apples as a thank you gift.
Pontubi: It resides in the deep seas and only comes out when they get hungry. They have a territory and guard it, just like Sudog.

Pokemon Dex Entry for the grass type starters

Coco: A naughty pokemon that loves to play under the sun. The longer it's under the sun, the more powerful it becomes. It also loves to steal food from Asoy.

Comico: Evolving made the naughty pokemon into a heroic pokemon. He gives out free coconuts every Friday.

Comeado: Comeado loves to give red flowers to Asoy and green flowers to Coco. Protects those who are in need.

Fire-type:

Asoy: This rascal loves to run around the grassy plains. They also love to play with Coco.
Firaso: Firaso competes with other Firasos (plural of Firaso) to see who is the best. Usually, those who bond the most with Coco when they were still Asoy win.
Sudog: Sudog has a territory and defends it 24/7. If anyone gets past then they will be burnt to a crisp.

Drohy: Drohy swims at the shoreline to America and back with its group who contains 3 Pontubi and a lot of Drohies (plural).
