I use flying because it's one of the types that can get a STAB attack super effective against every other type (the others being dark, ghost, and grass). Due to this advantage, my current team has never been 6-0'd.

As for fairy tales where dragons die, those "fairy" tales usually don't have actual fairies in them. If they did, the fairies aren't usually the ones doing the killing.
