Rap is stupid. I've heard quite a few rap songs, and putting the contents of the songs aside (96% of them seem to be about, as my mom might put it, "guns, drugs, b*tches, murder"), the... beat, I guess, is horrendous. Every time. Hell, I'd be hard-pressed to call rap music. If I gargled curse words into a microphone and... I dunno, repeatedly kicked a wall, you wouldn't call that music (at least I assume you wouldn't), but it'd genuinely be better than rap. Because even when the song isn't inappropriate, the beat is awful, and I would rather listen to just about anything else. I'd rather listen to death metal, and from what I've heard that's utter crap too. And nowadays, it feels like tons of people are crazy for rap for whatever dumb reason. Why not rock? Why not metal? Why not classical? Of course, all I have to do is look around for answers to those questions...

Anyway, rap is extremely low-quality, most of the time inappropriate (of course lots of songs are like that nowadays but still), sounds like crap, and everyone would be better off listening to something decent. At the very least, the songs idiots blast from their cars in the parking lot might shake the ground less.
