Yugioh definitely isn't though, sure normal summon, special summon, extra deck summoning is pretty easy but like chain-blocking, the difference between if and when on card effects causing missed timing, etc and then you look at the main decks at the moment of Tearlaments, Dragon Link, Unchained, etc they're not remotely easy to play lmao

In fairness, properly playing Yugioh is infinitely harder than Magic nowadays. Magic at its core is pretty simplified in comparison to modern day Yugioh, though I much prefer competitive Yugioh's pacing and the current meta though I wish I could go back to Tengu Plant format in 2011.
